The Boys of Big Bang Theory
From the first episode of this hilarious NBC comedy, I was hooked in by the foursome of super nerds. All professors at a California university, Leonard and Sheldon are thrust into a new world as a beautiful young woman moves into the apartment across the hall, and shenanigans begin to occur almost instantly.
Maybe it’s the geek in me that loves this foursome of nerdy hotties, but I can’t help but notice the latent hotness in each of these four men.
Johnny Galecki plays Leonard Hofstadter, the lovable physicist who develops a crush on his new neighbor Penny almost instantly. You probably recognize him from his extensive television and movie work, including Hancock, My Name Is Earl, The Opposite Of Sex, Suicide Kings, and of course Roseanne.
Veritable newcomer Jim Parsons can be spotted in School For Scoundrels and Garden State, but it’s his turn as Sheldon on this show that has me hoping he’ll begin to get more substantial roles. Most likely my favorite character on the show, I love Jim and his portrayal of seriously OCD and unbendable Sheldon Cooper.
Simon Helberg shows up in Walk Hard and Mama’s Boy, but his loveable Jewish engineer Howard Wolowitz will become a calling card. The only scientist to not have his PhD, what he lacks in degrees Howard makes up in his misguided sexual prowess.
Kunal Nayyar is the runaway of the show by far, his portrayal of Rajesh Koothrappali side-splitting. He can’t speak around women (at least when he’s sober) , which leads to some hilarious moments between him and Penny.
If you haven’t seen the show, now’s the time to tune in – the boys are adorable and all will go far!
