My oh my, how did I miss Michael Shanks all this time…
Well, I know exactly how I missed him. I don’t watch Stargate SG-1. Now, my husband watches it a lot but I’m really just not a fan, so I had no clue. Don’t think it has been all SG for him though, he also auditioned for the role of Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis and was a fan favorite for Tobin Dax on Star Trek: Enterprise - but no one knows if he was ever approached about the roles.
His list of starring roles is longer than most folks wish lists. Besides SG, he has most recently been seen in Living Out Loud, The Lost Treasure of the Grand Canyon, Stargate: Continuum, Stargate: The Ark of Truth, Megasnake, Judicial Indiscretion, Under the Mistletoe, as well as guest roles in Burn Notice, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, 24, CSI: Miami, Andromeda and even way back in 1993 in Highlander.
Well, it is clear that he shouldn’t have slipped through my slippery little fingers but…alas he did but now, he is here!
