More Dexter
Dexter isn’t all about the hotties that have been on the show for it’s full three year run. This season, they’ve brought in some new blood to stir up the pot and give us new objects of lust!
Miguel Prado (played by Jimmy Smits) is the assistant DA in Miami. And while at first he seems like an amazing Latino man who has risen above some difficult family issues – the least of which is finding his youngest brother murdered – it soon becomes clear Miguel isn’t all that innocent. Or nice.
Many critics were nervous about Smits playing a bad guy, but as he continues to grow closer to Dexter and more and more evil every week, it’s clear Smits plays Prado almost too well. It’s easy to forget his good-guy roots when you see Miguel drunkenly starting fights and cheating on his wife.
Joey Quinn (played by Desmond Harrington) is another bad boy to add to the Dexter family at Miami Metro. A recent transfer to the homicide department, Quinn brings with him an air of mystery, along with a few rumors about his bad boy status. Although you quickly realize Quinn is more bark than bite, it doesn’t hurt his sex appeal or his bad boy status to think otherwise!
Finally, there’s Anton, played by David Ramsey. This sexy Latino CI becomes intimately entangled with Deb, and while we still don’t know if the pair are going to work through their romance, I do know that watching him play the guitar and put the moves on Deb episode after episode has definitely NOT been a bad thing!
