John Parker Wilson
Yea, I’m an Alabama fan and with the Tide failing to Roll right now, I still wanted to toss in a word for John Parker Wilson. The kid is amazing. He is a good guy, a good student, a great athlete and he simply came from a good family. His mother was a University cheerleader back in her day and his father played baseball for……Orioles maybe. I’ll have to check that fact to be certain about it.
He is an Alabama born and bred kid too, so you know, you can’t help but cheer for the hometown guys, right? He was actually one of the featured players from Two-A-Days and is also a member now of the Sigma Nu Fraternity at UA.
He is 6′2" and about 215 pounds…born in October of 1985 and hails from Hoover Alabama…which is, where the school from the MTV featured show named above was filmed.
His on the field stats say more about him than anything….but what will he do when he is done on the football field. He wears number 14…that still doesn’t tell me what he plans to do next year….or when he graduates…so I’m still looking for that info for you.
I did find a funny article where some LSU fans got their hands on JP’s cell phone number before the LSU game and posted it on the internet. Poor guy, I bet his phone was ringing off the dang hook. The article I found made reference to his late night "booty calls" but…surely not, this kid just looks to green doesn’t he? Just kidding….he looks good, even if he is only 23.
Ok, so we are nearing the end of the 4th quarter and it’s just not looking good for the Tide. That’s ok, we hold our head high and when we have a quarterback of this caliber…why not hold our head way up there? Ok, I can’t find exactly who his father played baseball for but I know I heard that earlier. If someone can find it, shoot the info my way, please.
