Eric McCormack
Eric is an Emmy Award winning Canadian actor, musician, television producer and writer. I mean, really, what’s left? His best known role was as Will Truman on the sitcom Will & Grace. Of course, I didn’t watch that show but had I know I was missing all these hot men all these shows that I’ve never watched, I’d definitely been ready to give some of these shows a try.
He played Colonel Francis Clay Mosby in the Western miniseries Lonesome Dove in 1994 and then Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years in 1995. He starred in Highlander: The series in the episode known as Manhunt. Then, in 1997, he moved on to The Outer Limits in the episode Tempests and Borrowed Hearts. He had a hit film known as Free Enterprise with William Shatner and Mark A. Altman.
He is best known though as a gay lawyer on Will & Grace which ran from 1998 til 2006. He was nominated for an Emmy on 3 different occasions and won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy in 2001. He has performed on Broadway in the Susan Stroman revival of The Music Man .
Other places to look would be in the television series Dead Like Me and some of-Broadway plays like Some Girls with Fran Drescher in 2006. He was also the executive producer of the new Lifetime comedy, Lovespring International. He was also on Monk’s 100th episode. and he will star in the new television drama Trust Me with Tom Cavanaugh.
