TV Boyfriends

Let’s start with Zack..well no, we started with Tony yesterday, but today, we are moving right along to Zack.  Zack is a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  When he was 21 he served a 2 year mission for the church in Ghana and Sierra Leone.  If living like that won’t make you mature, nothing will.  Zack says that performing is in his blood.  His mom and dad always sang together which happens to be one of his only memories of his parents together).  His uncles were musical theatre performers.  He started dance lessons when he was 14 and by 17 he had moved to Florida to be part of a boy band.  He decided to leave the band because the way they were portrayed as sex symbols and using bad language was against his beliefs.  He has taken a year off from studying nutritional science to give it one last shot at performing and if this doesn’t work out, he plans to be a dentist. 

So, what kind of guy is he?  He is mature, sensitive, spiritual, confident and charismatic.  Well, that’s exactly the man for me.  Well, he is a bit young for me but you know, those are great traits.  He says the hardest part is that the industry is so tough.  He thinks he excels in Jazz and Hip-Hop but can fake tapping.  He says dancing is more of a release for him than anything.  He says it helps him clear his mind and relax.

And, so..I give you….Zack

Let’s start with one that Bruno called “great” tonight.  And, this guy didn’t grow up with some lazy upbringing.  He grew up in a military family which means several things.  One it means that he has friends all over the world from all that traveling.  Both of his parents were in the Air Force so that alone tells you that he has lived in many places and made many friends.  Then, his mother was a b-girl street dancer when she was young and she has been his primary influence to dance.  They divorced when he was young but he was able to stay close to both of them.  He has lived in England, Texas, Hawaii, North Carolina, Florida, Washing D.C. and now Los Angeles, California.  See, I told you the boy had friends in many places. 

Then, talk about the discipline from dancing and the discipline growing up in a house with military parents, this guy should be really good for this show.  He joined a group called “Culture Shock” when he lived in D.C.  He saw them perform and was hooked.  He was 16 when he joined this group and then he toured with Ginuwine as a backup dancer. 

Growing up he enjoyed singing and by 16 he had a song on a local radio sation in North Carolina.  He was the choir in Hawaii that sang backup for Yolanda Adams (gospel) and P. Diddy.  As for his personality, he is outgoing and has a fun personality.  He is every girls dream, strong willed, well rounded and he adapts well to new situations.  Well, I mean if living in all those states wouldn’t make you learn to adapt, what would?  He says his mothers dream is for him to dance and that’s what he wants to do.  So, I ask you, did you see him tonight?  He looks good ladies.  I don’t know how many great photos I can find of him, but I’m certainly going to try.

In the meantime, dream about a disciplined, strong willed, singing dancing gorgeous man.  That should help.

Do you watch Gossip Girl?  I haven’t tuned in just yet but I actually had an opportunity to see some of the characters in a pre-season video and just from that, I picked me a man.  His character Dan Humphrey is a boy from the wrong side of the tracks and he has fell in love with someone that he should have known he was suppose to avoid.  He is an outsider in her little circle of friends.  He is the son of a has-been rockstar and doesn’t quite fit in with his new love’s crowd.  He is still reaching for her though.  So, I’m telling you, you need to check him out, in either Gossip Girl or one of his other shows.

He has been seen in The OC as well as Forever Strong and John Tucker Must Die.  His favorite band, Incubus.  He lives in LA and drives an Audi.  I mean, could he sound more perfect to you?  He is a surf boy, as it eems all celebrities are and he likes snowboarding and skiing as well.  He also sings, writes and plays the guitar.  Can you imagine being serenaded by him?

I like that name, you?  Layke..I like weird spellings.  I know some folks get agitated by funky spelled names, but I happen to like them.  Anyway, this hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin’-love was born on October 13, 1985 in England.  So, naturally that makes him a British actor and well, if you look like that, you are definitely on the model track too.

He was discovered in New York at 17 and was hand-picked to play an x-kid in X-Men 2.  He has been photographed by art and fashion greats Greg Gorman, Bruce Weber, STeven Sebring, Pierre et Gilles.  Pierre de Gilles called him the new River Phoenix while he was shooting L’Uomo Vogue in Sicily.

He has also modeled for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gannana, Abercrombie & Fitch and Christian Dior.  He played in underground theatre roles like Rimbaud and Dorian Gray.  He also was seen working with artists such as Spike Jonze, Bjork, Jonathan Cauette, Asia Argento and Marianne Faithfull.

Recently, he has played opposite Shirley MacLaine and Mischa Barton in the forthcoming Closing the Ring which is directed by Richard Attenborough.  And, his next movie?  House of Boys

A young little cat, yes he is… a mere 26 and rockin’ the my world.  He was captain of his football team and also performed in several drama productions in an arts-magnet program at Hollywood High School.  Now, that school just sounds awesome doesn’t it?  He also ran track and even sang at his graduation.  I mean, come on people.  He is a native of Belize in Central America and came to the U.S. when he was 3. 

He has attended Pasadena City College for 2 years and studied sociology.  He really is a great track athlete but still he prefers his acting.  He has been seen in Boston Public, Judging Amy and an episode of The Shield.  He was in High Crimes with Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman and his independent feature, The Playaz Court was realized in 2003.  He will co-star with Forest Whitaker in the upcoming film American Gun. 

He was a teenager who ran track and played basketball in American Dreams.  He says that guy is very close to who he is.  A sense of humor and having something to say about his world is how he describes the character and himself.  He likes cartoon characters and is a Laker and Cowboy fan.

Yes, the name should look familiar…He is the father of A.J. Lamas from yesterdays post.  He is a film actor, a television personality and martial artist.  He has been in soap operats, movies and other television.  He plays mostly fillainous roles in shows like Mediterranean and Norwegian.    He was known as the irresposnible grandson, Lance Cumson, ON Falcon Crest and the falsely accused cop on te 1990’s crime drama, Renegade.  He was also a firefighter on The Bold and The Beautiful.  He even served as a judge on Are You Hot?  and he should know.

Other places to find him include, Grease in 1978, Gladiator cop in 1995, Undercurrent in 1999, The Nowhere Man in 2005, Lethal in 2005, Succubus:  Hell Bent in 2007, Mexican Gold and Chinaman’s Chance, all in 2007.  As for TV appearance, besides Falcon Crest, he was part of Celebrity Boot Camp in 2002, The Immortal in 2000 and 2001, The Paradise Virus in 2003, Hope Ranch in 2004 as well as Raptor Island in 2004.  So, go find him, see what you think.

If that name sounds familiar..it should.  A.J. is the son of Lorenza Lamas.  And, apparently he is a ladies man, much like his father.  I mean, he looks good, what else is there in a TV Boyfriend?  You can find A.J. in As the World Turns.  I mean if the soap star men don’t make good boyfriends sometimes, who does?  He has also been in American Family.  He was born Alvar Joshua Lamas in 1983.  I think I like A.J. better myself.  He was born and raised in Arizona.  He lived with is mother and 2 younger sisters growing up.  His sister Shayne is also an actress.  He started out modeling, you know, like many of the men we feature, and he took part in the International Modeling and Talent Association competition in 2001.  He won the cold-reading category and an honorable mention as Young Adult Actor of the Year and he even won Model of the Year.  He likes to play golf and has been rated one of the top models in Arizona.  He is skilled in Tai Kwon Do.  How much better and sexy can this man get?

He won a Golden Globe in 2003 and featured in the video Decisions - Are you Ready to Make the Right Ones?  So, how sexy is he?  You tell me…

I don’t usually like long-haired men but to be honest, this guy looks good, long hair and all. He was onestly hooked up with Lindsay Lohan at one time…

Desperate Housewives…do you watch?  Do you only watch to see the good looking men?  If so, then you are guaranteed to spot Josh Henderson.  Austin McCann is who he is on that crazy show.  I don’t watch it, I have enough gossip and drama in my own life to be able to stand that of the night time soap.  I just can’t handle it.  Other shows he has been include Popstars.  He has dated Ashlee Simpson but their relationship ended in 2003.  His break-up with her was even fatued in the first episode of The Ashlee Simpson Show.  I guess that’s one way to get on television. 

He is set to appear in April Fool’s Day in 2008.  And, other than the shows I’ve mentioned, you can find him in 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, North Shore, One on One, She Spies, Do Over, Maybe It’s Me and Popstars:  USA.  Yes, there’s plenty of other movies to find him in but you can even see him in a music video by Ashely Tisdale in her song “He said She Said”.

When I started searching for a TV Boyfriend named Djimon Hounsou, I had already found one really sexy photo of him.  My serach continued and all the photos of him were from movies and he looked really mean.  I had to keep looking to find some photos where he looked hot again.  I mean, some folks like mean looking men, I personally don’t like it at all, I prefer the sweet, clean cut, sexy look.

I eventually found some photos and information for you.  Hounsou, which is pronouced Hansoo, was born in Contou, Benin.  Do you even have a clue where that is?  Not me, I’m a geography nerd.  He was on the path to a college degree and at only one year shy, he dropped out.  He was even homeless for a while.  He was eventually discovered by a fashion designer who made us one more beautiful model.  See him as a Calvin Klein hotty right here.

His television roles include Beverly Hills, 90210 and ER.  He has also been a guest star on Alias and holy cow, my husband probably watches him on Stargate even.  He has been seen in The Gap commercials too. 

Another one that bit the dust when Football Wives did.  But, this guy probably couldn’t care less.  He had a supporting role in Angus in 1995, then I Love You, I Love You Not.  After that, he hit Cash Crop in 1997 but it wasn’t released until 2001.  He was Dawon Leery on Dawson Creek and that was really  his breakout point.  He has also starred in Varsity Blues, then Texas Rangers, The Rules of Attraction and of course Football Wives.  In 1998 he was chosen one of People Magazine’s 50 most eautiful people in the owrld.  He has also been the UNSUB on Criminal Minds twice.  He is presently guest-starring Ugly Betty and has a new movie that came out in September called Final Draft.

I think that should tell you that he is fairly well known and well, he looks good too, eh?

Even though ABC cancelled Football Wives, it had some hunks lined up.  I’m gonna take a few days and show you a few.  Let’s start with Eddie Cibrian.  I can’t resist starting this one off with a nice photo…

You know, that’s not my normal MO, to give you the photo before the details but…who can resist that dude?  Where can you find ol’ Eddie?  Start with The Young and the Restless, Baywatch Nights, Sunset Beach, Third Watch, Tilt, Invasion, Beverly Hills 90210, Living Out Loud, But I’m a Cheerleader and The Cave.  He joined Vanished mid-way through the season and ended up as the lead.

I’ve talked about Chase before on my other blogs.  In case you don’t know, he is “dating” or “romantically involved” with Carrie Underwood.  One lucky girl I say!   Funny how I didn’t even know the man existed til I saw he is Carrie’s new beau.  Where can you find him? 

Well, he grew up in Lubbuck, Texas.  I knew I wanted to live thre for some reason.  Most notably right now, he is in Gossip Girl.  That show is much talked about but I have yet to check it out myself.  Have you?

I’ve been digging really deep into the Internet to find some more hot hot hot TV Boyfriends.  And, naturally, I found Alan Ritchson and was totally amazed.  I like brunettes.  I’m sure you’ve noticed.  I like tan and dark skin, I’m sure you’ve noticed.  But Alan?  He is blonde and appears to even be a little fair skinned.  But people, the man is simply gorgeous.

The first thing I noticed about him is that he simply doesn’t mind showing his body.  Being very very conservative in that area, it always amazes me to see people who are comfortable naked.  I dont’ even like being naked alone, never mind in broad daylight and on magazine covers.  But, thankfully enough, Alan Ritchson is not like me.  And, afterall, I don’t think anyone wants to see me anyway.

So, where did he come from, out of the blue it seems.  He started in the Abercrombie and Fitch catalogue.  He appeared on American Idol and was one of 87 contestants who made it to Hollywood.  What was he remembered for there?  His striptease!  I mean, see, he really doesn’t mind at all.  Apprarently he woo’d Paula with that very strip act.  And, soon thereafter, he was a guest star on Smallville as the young version of Aquaman.  He even had an independent album called This is Next Time which was released in 2005.  He also models underwear for the men’s online underwear store known as internationaljock.com

What do I need to do to get to be this girl? 

Let me hear you spell that one out loud a few times.  The first place Milo was spotted that I remember is from the Gilmore Girls.  He has been on other shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, CSI, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Law and Order, SVU and Boston Public.  I really liked Boston Public and I do vaguely remember him from there.  He has also been on American Dreams, The Bedford Diaries, Dirty Deeds, the latest Rocky movie, Rocky Balboa and of course Heros and Big Girls Don’t Cry. 

He started auditioning, booking jobs and working his up while attending UCLA.  He was majoring in English and has four years under his belt but no degree.

Do you think he is hot? 

Jason Lewis, the Sex and the City hunk is now the Aero Bubbles Hunk too.  He is appearing in an ad for television for British chocolate Aero Bubbles.  I don’t know about you guys, but maybe I would love to try these chocolates….

He even said that since he was from California, he was accustom to hanging around half naked on a beach, so he had no problem shooting the ad.  He even added that going to London to eat bubbly chocolate was a great job…erm…yea for the photographer…
