TV Boyfriends

I’m still working on a list of hot men forwarded to me from a reader and if I have to say so myself, this woman man has some great tastes.  I mean, really, check out Marc Blucas…yum nom nom nom.  And the most amazing part is that he has been around for quite some time and I’ve never noticed.  How could that be possible?

First of all, way back in 1996 he started with Eddie, then Pleasantville in 1998.  He moved on to the likes of House on Haunted Hill, Summer Catch, Sunshine State and coming up in 2010 he will be in a film entitled Mother and Child.

But if you want to talk television, you gotta check out Clueless, Undressed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, House and Eleventh Hour.  I’m having a good time checking out all these hot men that my readers are sending me.  And, with that, some of these hotties have even made contact with me and while I am happily married, it doesn’t stop me from being excited to hear from the people that I write about. 

Honestly, who wouldn’t love to chat with some of these men who happen to be doing miraculous work in their community.  Brett Zak is a dentist in Orlando and well I’m sure you all know Andy Baldwin from The Bachelor.  It’s not like we are big friends or anything, but they did send a thank you my way which was pretty cool.

So, if you know someone you want featured, you know someone I’ve already featured feel free to send me some ideas, I love featuring people who are special to my readers.

When I hear the name Lombardi I immediately think football.  And, of course any vision of men in tight pants with big muscles would make me take a second look.  But, this Lombardi is an American actor from the television series Rescue Me as the firefighter Mike Silletti.  And, so as long as we are thinking of hot men, let’s go ahead and check this guy out.

I mean, I can look at Terrell Owens, Tiki and Rondell Barber and hey what about some more hotties on the field, we might as well go ahead and check out this Lombardi that is just hot and not playing football.  So, let’s talk about an actor Lombardi not a football player that’s hot.

So, go look for Mike Lombardi and find Rescue Me, Cayman Went, Six Degrees, Banshee, Prescriptions, The Job and way back in 2002 he was part of Saturday Night Live.

I am still working on the list of hotties off of Sven’s list but sometimes, even when I don’t mean to, I run into guys who keep showing up on gay porn sites.  So, be careful if you google for photos of some of these hotties because you really might get more than you bargain for. 

Now that photo there, that one is hot hot hot.  And, here’s one too…

I have to admit, I love the photos with no shirt because you can always get some hot abs but these photos are darn right sexy if you ask me.

Matt is an actor and model best known for his roles as Horace Calloway in the short-lived ABC political drama Commander in Chief.  And, then, he was the voice over of Anakin Skywalker in the animated film Star Wars.  He joined the cast of 90210 as Liam and became a regular on the show before the next season.

As for TV, this guy’s been all over.  He looks so young in these photos

I mean, I know I am no young cat nor am I as old as dirt but this guy really looks like a kid.  I mean, you know a kid as in maybe my son kind of kid.  But, we are going to put that aside for now and continue to talk about how good looking this guy is.  His career started in 2005 with 8 Simple Rules, Point Pleasant, Big Love and then we’ve already discussed his brief stint on the Commander in Chief.  He was then part of the cast of Heroes, Shark (one of my favorite shows that didn’t make it long) CSI, Monk, Greys Anatomy along with Life, The Oaks and as I already mentioned, Star Wars and the 90210.

So, when I see this photo, at least I see a man, not a kid.  Maybe a hard working, sweaty-I’ve-run-a-mile-just-for-you kind of sweat.  I can take that, I can absolutely take that he is not a kid when I see this photo.

And honey sweet honey, this photo…this photo is absolutely hot hot hot.  He really is a gorgeous hunk if you check that last photo out.  I’ll take that hot body any day….yummmmy.  Nom Nom Nom.

Robert Buckley has a decree in economics degree from the University of California, San Diego.  He worked as an economic consultant for some time and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career on the screen.  While in college, Buckley appeared on The Price is Right.  One of his bids was for one dollar less than another contestant.  Bob Barker noted that it wasn’t he smartest bid that he could have made. 

Luckily for Buckley made a career for himself on My Network TV prime-time drama’s.  He was a photographer named Michael Bauer on Fashion House and Matthew Wakefield on American Heiress.  He then appeared in one episode of Ghost Whisperer in 2007 and a recurring role in Lipstick Jungle in 2008 and 2009.  He was in Killer Movie and Robot Battle and in a Lifetime original Flirting with Forty.  He co-starred with Heather Locklear and currently has a guest role on the CW’s show Privileged.

And now, now he has been announced as Clayton, a sports agent on the CW’s One Tree Hill.

Listen, you all know how much I love some abs and this guy has some abs.  He has a six pack, a for real six pack and just look at them….rippling and begging for…..oh my, I better stop, this is not an x-rated site.

Can you imagine walking down the street and seeing a man looking like Robert in those gray shorts just lumbering down the sidewalk?  Oh yea, it would make everything I’ve ever dreamed worth it.  Too bad there’s not too many men that look like that walking around where I live.  Whew, I mean really, what do you folks think of this hottie?

Alas, I realize I have missed a large majority of the hotties on TV.  Because the reader, Sven that sent these gems my way is one more TV Boyfriends fan.  She can spot these men a mile away apparently.  So, who do we feature today?  Michael Trucco is one of those hotties.  He started out back in 1997 with Pensacola:  Wings of Gold and Confessions of a Sexist Pig in 1998. 

Then, he made a big appearance on the great show Charmed.  I was never a regular viewer of Charmed but we have watched quite a bit of it since then as my husband loves to watch stuff that he has on DVR and Charmed is one of those shows.  If you are looking for him, check out Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, The Groomsmen, Tru Calling, Battlestar Galactica, One Tree Hill and if that’s not good enough, you can start in 2007 catching him on Eli Stone, The Big Bang Theory and Law and Order:  SVU

Ok, you guys know I aim to please around here.  I got some emails with some suggestions and very rarely have I written about a man on this blog that didn’t appeal to my female senses.  I mean, hey, it’s my blog, I can do what I want, right?

But, I did get a suggestion for Alexander Skarsgard and I was like WHO?  You know some people have selective listening, I have selective writing.  So, first thing I do of course is google the man because hey, I do aim to please, remember. 

And, I found this photo….

…and I thought to myself…ack, he is not good looking, how can he be a good TV Boyfriend?  So, I kept searching…

Ack still not liking this guy…let me see what else I can find…I find that he is from Sweden and he is not only an actor but a director.  I keep reading….I find out he was in a lot of Swedish movies and then…names I recognize…Generation Kill and True Blood……hum… let me keep looking…

I find out that in 2003 he co-directed To Kill a Child with Bjome Larson.  Humm…I need good looks…all that sounds well and good but you know, this is purely our imagination here and we have to have a guy that’s easy on the eyes.

And I am in love.  Ok, not in love because you all know Wentworth Miller is who I love but hummmm this photo, this guy (not the ones above) but this one, this guy here….oh yea, he looks hot.  Why is there a difference?  I have no clue but the first 2 do not appeal to me at all but this last one…nom nom nom.

I know for a while I was hung up on Wentworth Miller, hey wait, I still am hung up on Wentworth Miller.  But, anyway, I’m trying to spread my love around and while my husband sits and watches The Unit on Sunday nights, I sit and gaze into the eyes of Scott Foley. 

Foley is known for his television role on Felicity as Noel Crane and believe it or not, I never saw that show so I can’t imagine what all I missed.  He also been in movies like Forever Love, Someone to Love Me:  A  Moment of  Truth Movie, Crowned and Dangerous as well as his guest appearances on House, Jack & Bobby and Scrubs. 

And, if you happen to be looking for him on the film circuit, you can catch yim in Below, Rennie’s Landing and Scream 3.  And, as I have already mentioned, my love for him become real as he plays Bob Brown on The Unit.  And, trust me, there’s plenty of hot men on that show to gaze out, so if Scott is just not your type, you should check out some of the others to see if maybe they float your boat.

Early in his career, he was the buzz around Sweet Valley High, Crowned and Dangerous, Step by Step and Dawson’s Creek.  I have to say, those aren’t my kind of shows but definitely The Unit is exactly the kind of shows I like to watch.

Let’s talk about a very interesting and very good-looking guy named Jensen Ackles. He was born in Dallas, Texas on March 1, 1978. He began his career with modeling at the age of 4. He didn’t start acting seriously until 1997 when he got the role of Eric Brady on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. This was the first time I noticed Jensen. He had many other small television roles before he became Coach Jason Teague on the hit show Smallville in 2004. In 2005 Jensen joined the cast of a CW series called Supernatural as the character Dean Winchester. Jensen stars in Supernatural with another hot young actor by the name of Jared Padalecki. There is even a website that asks the question which actor is hotter!  Mercury News can get you that information.

He is very talented and in addition to TV and film has acted in theatre.  He made his theatre debut in 2007 as Lt. Daniel Kaffee in A Few Good Men with Lou Diamond Phillips in Fort Worth, Texas at the Casa Manana Theatre.
In 2009, Jensen played the lead male role in a remake of My Bloody Valentine. I saw this movie and thought he did an excellent job as Tom Hanniger. He kept me in suspense until the very end, and it didn’t hurt that he wasn’t bad to look at either.

If you were unsure of how you felt about Jensen before, then after watching this video you will be sure that he is just completely adorable!

So, it’s just one of those tings  or one of those actors, you either like them or you don’t.  Not being a big van of Bones, I can take him or leave him, but honestly TV Guide has a sexy photo or two of them and well…..there is just nothing like sexy.

TV Guide declares that they could spend an entire issue on him because he is so sexy but, I have to kind of disagree on this one because, I think he looks good in this photo shoot but when my husband forces to watch him on Bones, I never get that gut wrenching feeling of lust.  But, they site is Italian features, is soulful eyes, heis lean body as all being the qualities of sexy and well, you wont get any arguments out of me on that one but I really don’t know that David truly fits in the category of plain ol’ sexy. 

He is 39 and he says the trick is being comfortable in your own sin.  Well, yea, if you look like that it shouldn’t be an issue at all, or at least that’s how it seems to me. And of course, they finish off with some silly tale of how the fans want to “jump his bones’.  Whatever!

came upon Michael as he was on The View and he is as always quite charming.  When I watched the sticoms as a child, I didn’t want to like him because he was just so nerdy it seems.  But, as it is now, he is suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and he is made a huge impact on the world by getting the word out about Parkinsons, what it is, what causes it and what to do if  you or a loved one have it.

When I was growing up my aunt was the babysitter in our family.  Her mother couldn’t have been much into her 50’s at the time but she had Parkinsons’s.  I remember being afraid of her at first. I mean, not for any reason other than I didn’t understand the shaking.  But, hey I was 2, 3 maybe 4 years old.  And if I didn’t see her for a while it would usually throw me off my thought pattern at first, but this woman lived a long happy life with Parkinson’s and as Michael J. Fox has done his very best to do….get the word out so people know what we are dealing with.

His slogan on his non-profit site is “We don’t just fund RESEARCH, We fund RESULTS!  As many of you may or my not know, he and Whoopi ran the red carpet together at event lately and they were looking way cool.  I thought it right funny but they look au nautrel.  What about you? 

So, let me see if I can re-cap this right.  Thee was a wreck involving for sure Casey Aldridge. And, according to the Louisiana State Troopers say that three of the five people riding in his truck were ejected during the crash,  including Casey.  And, at one point, they story was that there were only 4 people in the truck. 

According to authorities, he was heading north on 606 in Louisiana early in the morning.  Now, does that mean early in the morning like late at night partying that turned into early in the morning or does that mean like early in the morning like going on a trip and got up early to get a early start? 

Either way, he apparently swerved off the right of the road and then turned back up on the pavement which caused the car to flip.  I happen to drive an automobile that supposedly has a fairly high flip rate so I try to be careful about reaching for things in the seat or looking away.  It’s just so dangerous. 

Two of the passengers refused medical care and Casey was taken to the hospital for moderate injuries.  Now they say they aren’t sure if alcohol was a factor and so, with that, I’m left to believe that indeed, this was the kind of early morning that is really late night. 

Generally speaking, passengers are more than four times likely to die if they are ejected from a car during an accident but in this case, all three that were ejected survived.  This accident thus far is considered a misdeamor and Casey is healing in a Jackson hospital now.

For those of you who are still lost, Casey is the father of Jamie Lynn Spears child.

You all know that I have my favorites, Wentworth Miller, Shamar Moore, Dominic Purcell and even Amaury Nolasco but  for some reason, I’ve managed to miss the Matthew McConaughey bandwagon.  I”m not sure why other than most of the photos of him look like this:

And, honestly, that’s just not the kind of look that turns me on.  But, he was on the Academy of Country Music Awards show on Sunday night and he told a cute story and then Carrie Underwood got in on the action.  This was really too good pass up.

It went like this:

Matthew McConaughey. showed up too with a joke or two.  His story was that he and a brother or cousin were out in Texas trying to pick up women (apparently before he was famous).  Some girls asked them what they did for a living and they told the girls that they designed George somebody’s boots.  Then they story proceeded as they told the girls they had the next year’s edition of white snake skin boot in their trunk….then he ended it with….”all I’m going to say is…we got lucky…and thank you George”….

That was funny in and of itself.  But, the humor continued when Carrie Underwood accepted her trophy as Entertainer of the year, babbled on for a minute or two and then turned to Matthew and said, “hey, I want to see them boots too”…laughter erupted

So, I went in search of some better photos and alas, I did find some..

I’ve featured Taye Diggs before.  But, this past week he was on The View and holy cow people, do I have to tell you that he has the personality to go along with that great body?  He talked about his dog, a small dog of some kind, I don’t really remember the breed.  But, the conversation went something like this:

Whoopi:  so you have a dog, what’s it’s name?

Taye:  Sammy Davis Jr.

Whoopi:  so you just go out and, enjoy some down time, who do you spend that time with?

Taye:  Sammy Davis Jr.

Joy:  What do you call him?

Taye:  *with a straight face* Sammy Davis Jr.

Taye:  well, yea, it’s like, we are having a intimate moment and I call out my ex’s name

I don’t watch Private Practice.  I didn’t and don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy but I am here to tell you, I could sit and look at this man all day. 

Last night I found myself in a chat room with some folks as I was watching my DVR’d episode of The View where Taye was.  I kept making really crazy statements about how gorgeous he was and how he looked so good I would suck his nose, or I would eat him whole.  There was a 19 year old guy in the chat room who was having fits.  He acted as if he thought I was crazy and wondered about my obsession with people and food at the same time.  Naturally a man wouldn’t see the gorgeousness of one Taye Diggs…but I know you can, right?  You would totally suck his nose wouldn’t you?

Eric is an Emmy Award winning Canadian actor, musician, television producer and writer.  I mean, really, what’s left?  His best known role was as Will Truman on the sitcom Will & Grace.  Of course, I didn’t watch that show but had I know I was missing all these hot men all these shows that I’ve never watched, I’d definitely been ready to give some of these shows a try.

He played Colonel Francis Clay Mosby in the Western miniseries Lonesome Dove in 1994 and then Lonesome Dove:  The Outlaw Years in 1995.  He starred in Highlander:  The series in the episode known as Manhunt.  Then, in 1997, he moved on to The Outer Limits in the episode Tempests and Borrowed Hearts.  He had a hit film known as Free Enterprise with William Shatner and Mark A. Altman. 

He is best known though as a gay lawyer on Will & Grace which ran from 1998 til 2006.  He was nominated for an Emmy on 3 different occasions and won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy in 2001.  He has performed on Broadway in the Susan Stroman revival of The Music Man .

Other places to look would be in the television series Dead Like Me and some of-Broadway plays like Some Girls with Fran Drescher in 2006.  He was also the executive producer of the new Lifetime comedy, Lovespring International.  He was also on Monk’s 100th episode.  and he will star in the new television drama Trust Me with Tom Cavanaugh.

Believe it or not, I’ve rounded up some new meat.  Ha ha, that sounds funny coming from my mouth, but it’s true, new man meat, their here…..I’ve never seen Breaking Bad but apparently it’s a doggone could show.  Aaron Paul plays Jesse Pinkman who is a former student in Walt’s chemistry class.  Together they figure out a way to make meth.  Great, I was afraid that’s what our chemistry students were doing…..learning just enough chemistry to learn to run the local meth labs.  ARgh.

So, if you are looking at him thinking, how did I miss this guy?  That’s what I’m thinking too.  He also starred in the Korn music video for the song Thoughtless and was in the independent film Perfect Opposites.  If you are familiar with Bad Girls from Valley High or Mission Impossible III, K-Pax, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and The Last House on the Left, then you’ve seen him there too. 

He has managed to have guest star appearances on shows like Big Love, House, Medium, The 4400, Close to Home, The Closer, The Guardian, CSI:  Miami, ER, Numb3rs, Bones and Sleeper Cell. 

So yea, how did we let this goody slip by us?  How is that I watch some of these shows and I still had no clue he was.  You guys know my TV viewing is terribly biased but really, how did I miss this guy.  He is one hot tamale.  If you don’t believe me, just check it out for yourself in the photos below.
