TV Boyfriends

Ok, I just lost a huge post that I loved.  So, I’ll have to back up now.  All the guys said Jake was too perfect.  Jillian said he was too perfect.  He does seem like a great guy.  Sasha (another bachelor) said that Jake pulled a “Mesnick” (which is when a guy leans over a hotel railing and cries over a girl a la Jason Mesnick from the last Bachelor).  And, Sasha was really ugly talking about Jake and Jake ended up cursing and using the f word.  Then, Sasha used it and Chris Harrison used it by saying it was the first time they had to use the bleep for the F word on the shows history.

Anyway, back to Jake…he really is precious and I hope he is the next Bachelor.  One of the audience members asked him if he still had feelings for Jillian and he sad he would always have some feelings for her.  And, when asked if he would be the next Bachelor he just said that he hadn’t recovered for this season and certainly had not thought that far in advance. 

I definitely hope he is the next Bachelor because he does deserve someone who can and will be good to him.  I’ve written about him quite a bit because he really made an impression on me in the first episode.  You can find those articles, here, here, here, here, here and here.

Yea I liked him, can you tell?  I don’t know that I have liked another Bachelor as much as I like Jake since the first season when Dr. Andy Baldwin became my choice of a great catch.

It’s time again….Big Brother is about to be all up in the HOUSE.  I love going to my reality shows for some good looking men and TV Boyfriends.  But, before I move on, I have to revisit the adorable Jake (who turned out to be very endearing and compassionate in direct opposition from what I thought originally) from The Bachelorette.  Spoilers had him finishing second to Kypton and that he would be the next Bachelor (which I hope he is the next Bachelor, he deserves it).

Now that he is gone, I’m not so sure the spoilers can be right.  I watched last night in major anticipation of Jillian wising up to Wes’s ploy for face time on TV just to benefit his band but alas, even the adorable, man of character Jake could not make her see the truth. (And, in the meantime, she made a fool out of herself and his ENTIRE family, his mother included.  I can only imagine what Jillian and his mother are thinking as they watch the show and see him proudly spout that he is not there for the girl but the face time.)

I can only wonder why Tanner didn’t meet Jake in Texas and team up against Wes.  I really would have liked to see that happen.  But, it didn’t.  And, she didn’t.  And, I was hacked.

But, I still believe she chooses Kypton (as I did way back on June 8th when I said he was THE one for her – see Jason’s and DeAnna when I picked him for her early on, then she chose the wild Jessie and went back to beg Jason to take her back – what a fool that one) and I’m going to just be plain ol’ rude here but when she saw how wealthy his family was, she immediately said, “this is a family I fit in with really well”(and this makes me mad)….well duh, that’s what we would all like to think too.  But, that’s what nabbed some others in the past too so she deserves what she gets.

Now, that said, I am in love with Kypton almost as much as Jake.  As much in love as a person can be in this situation.  I honestly think he is a great guy and would make a great husband.  But, not if money is the goal.  And, unfortunately, with Jillian, it appears to be a big influence.  Honestly, all the men’s families appeared to doing well in the income department but we didn’t actually see where the Bachelor’s lived….a la seasons past.  Instead, we got a view of where their parents’ lived. 

So, I ask you, my trusty audience, is Jillian out for the money?  Did she make a mistake by ousting Jake, even a second time?  What about keeping Wes?  What about letting Ed return?  And I’m not sure but I’m thinking she broke Michael’s heart slap into pieces.  Shame on you Jillian, you knew all along he wasn’t the one……

I am not sure how Michael made into the selection since most of the guys chosen for Jillian to pick through are professionals.  But, much like Jessie from DeAnna’s season, he was a snowboarder and look, she was mesmerized by his high action lifestyle only to realize…oops I screwed up.

But, Michael is a Break Dance Instructor and I remember seeing him on the first show sporting his skills.  Which to be honest, kind of made me laugh.  He is from Tacoma Washington and now lives in Astoria New York.  Yea, I can imagine the market for a break dancer is a bit better in NY than in Washington, right?

I figure his high life lifestyle might appeal to Jillian a little but she seems more grounded than DeAnna ever did in the first place so…with that, I’m calling his age the determining factor and man, he is young.  Very young to be thinking about stopping his career, moving to Canada, learning to live in a new environment and it seems it may be a very much more calm and easy lifestyle if Jillians behavior is any indication.

But, you never know, right?

As I mentioned before, I tend to like brunettes but Michael looks pretty good.  I’m not really happy with the way the Bachelor has handle all their mug shots but you know, I guess they do what they do for a reason.  I looked for some better photos of Michael but they are not really good ones of his face so I left them out.  You, go find me some good pictures and let me know what you think.

I can’t honestly say that I think Ed is a good looking guy.  I mean, for one thing, these clothes that these guys are wearing are really horrible for photos.  They all look much better it the snapshots I’ve found on google than the ones the show provided as teasers.  But, at the same time, he has a clean, nice, kind look to him.  I guess I am headed back to that glam in his eye and that smile.  He doesn’t have that half-smile that every once in a while does mean deceit.  I’d say he is an open guy willing to share whatever it is that Jillian wants to know about him.

He is from Michigan and currently lives in Chicago Illinois so chances are if he isn’t snapped up by Jillian, there will be women recognizing him on the street and hey, what about the ladies who work in the firm where he is a technology consultant.  They will either feel jilted or they will realize what a hottie they have working right under their noses. 

And, then again, Ed may not make it back to deal with anyone else.  He maybe the one that wow’s Jillian and you know, technology is another one of those careers that could travel to where ever Jillian feels she wants to reside.

I happen to be much more fond of this photo of Ed just because you see those hands, I told you he is willing to open up, show Jillian what he thinks and feels not just blow smoke.  And his eyes, camera or no camera, he is totally focused on her.  He is making a big score in my department just with this one photo.

What about you?  Do you think any of my analysis are right?  Or do they mean nothing to you at all?

I don’t know, honestly, I’m not sure I consider this to be a really genuine, I heart you kind of smile.  Something about it is very photogenic which makes me believe he was putting on a good show for the camera.  And, he is from a small town in Ohio and now lives in Dayton so it’s not like he is walking the streets of Hollywood looking for someone to pull him out as a new hot model.

But, then again, I can only imagine how difficult it would be if it were me and I’m from podunk no where but I can make some good photos if I just try.  I mean, you know, my wedding photos are good, lol.

But, back to David.  I happen to be a brunette lover so that would definitely give him some frontrunner room in my book and wow, some awesome teeth…..he is only 27 though and I think back to 27…I mean, it’s not like I am old as dirt now, but 27….Hey, honestly, Jillian may like him but he is just not on my list of favorites right now although he does look good and will probably make some woman somewhere very happy.

What do you think?  Who has been your favorite so far?  Has Jillian already tossed your guy out?  If so you might want to see if you can run him down.  I’ve actually made contact with at least one of my bachelors off of this site so don’t ever stop looking, you never know who is going to be walking around the corner just waiting to make you drop your bags just so he can help you pick them up and carry them inside…especially in Dayton Ohio.

I’m not sure where I stand on this guy.  He is from Denton Texas and makes his home in Lantana Texas and I have never heard of either of those towns.  So, just maybe he is a hometown guy and not looking for the big city life.

As a commercial pilot, he can probably live almost anywhere he wants except…maybe Canada.  I  mean, I know there are major airlines that fly in and out of Canada, I’m not that big of a redneck, but my guess is, if you are looking for a good commercial pilot job and you are 31, staying in the states might be the best idea. 

Is Jillian open to that.  Unless she discussed that last week in the show I missed, I don’t know that she has put out her preference on this particular matter.  But, she better think long and hard.  Hopefully Jake did that before he agreed to be on the show because…well yea, that could definitely be a problem.

As for looking at him upclose, he has that half smile that I find so enduring but his eyes just don’t ring with kindness and love that some of the other guys have.   That’s not to say he isn’t a great guy but the facts are just in my eyes in this particular situation, not the eyes of anyone else.  So, just take a look for yourself, analyze him and then watch the show and let me know what you think…..humpf, I just don’t know…

Really, Jillian is Canadian and Juan is from Argentina although he lives in Santa Monica and the show…right there in LA.  Boy, all this geography is confusing.  He is 35 which is older than many of the guys on the show and should be a big appeal factor for Jillian if she uses her head.  He is a general contractor which basically means that he can take his work where ever he so desires….you know…like Canada.

I haven’t had a lot of time to focus on Juan on the show but the photos I found were quite pleasing to the eye and sometimes, that glee in someone’s eyes is enough to tell you alot about their heart, what’s going on in their brain and in this case, he looks like a really soft, kind and caring man.  And, again, I hate to keep bringing this up but at age 35, he has had time to check out the women, check out the lifestyles and he should be a little more settled and comfortable in his own skin. 

I’ve made it clear that I really like Kiptyn but this guy is looking more and more like an nice choice if you ask me.  I hope he wasn’t one of the ones kicked off last week when I missed the show because I really need to know more about him before I make up my mind completely.

See those eyes, that twinkle in his eye and that side smile, that tells me, it might not tell you, but it rings of honesty to me, it rings of kindness and caring and heck if you don’t have a man with those qualities, you might as well dump all these guys and start over….have they ever let someone be the Bachelor or Bachelorette twice.  If Jillian just pays attention, she won’t need a third go at the show……

Yes, I know it’s too late to think Jillian is reading my advice and getting any good out of it…but she better stick with Juan for a little while and get to know him better.

Notice there are rarely any southern and by southern I mean deep southern gentleman on these shows.  I do believe that one of our good southern gentleman (not our one tooth wonder rednecks) could and would make a great guy on this show.  At least folks could see that just because you don’t live in a huge metro area like Dallas Texas or Denver Colorado or even Orlando Florida doesn’t mean you aren’t a good catch.  Heck, Tanner P would be a good catch regardless of his place of residence.  Or at least I think so anyway.

He lives in Dallas and hey, I have a friend in Dallas, I keep trying to tell her to at least find a way for me to meet these guys.  It would make writing about them alot easier, lol.

Tanner is a financial analyst and I suppose there are not a lot of those hanging out in the backwoods of Alabama but hey, we do have Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile….geez, come on now. 

Anyway, Tanner is 30 and as far as I am concerned, he has shown himself to be an energetic gentleman and hey what else could a girl want in a man?  Except Kiptyn…sorry.

But back to Tanner - I’ve been sneaking around and reading the boards which I don’t normally do and I don’t like what I am reading about Tanner.  Which is usually not even true in the first place so I beg you Tanner, prove these fools wrong…show me that you are as sweet and adorable as you seem to be right now, mid season….I wanna see you show off.

I’m starting with Tanner F who is from Derby Kansas and now resides in Denver, Colorado.  He has been sent home but that’s ok, he is going to find a girl, somewhere to fit his lifestyle, his personality and his kind and sweet nature.

As I mentioned, I missed last weeks show and I didn’t look to see who went home before I went back to reviewing the guys I liked.  I do have to say that he wasn’t one of my big time favorites but by far and away, he made a great impression.  So, do what you must do Tanner as you hang out in your new found shoes and check out those women around you and their motives. 

It won’t be long, the time is right when the time is right.  At 28, he has plenty of time to be checking out all the women and making sure he finds the one woman that lights up his life.

Imagine my surprise when I went to the site this morning (Sunday) to write this and I saw that he had been sent home.  Yea, just as I had him picked to be right up there as a front runner.  I really don’t think he was THE one but I wonder if something happened behind the scenes that I don’t (or we) don’t know about that turned Jillian off to this guy.

So, check out his photos and if you know where to find him, go let him know what a good catch he really is and see if it’s you that makes a match for him.

We didn’t have television service last week and I missed the hunks that Julian had to pick from but…I’ve already picked mine and I am sticking with him.  Kiptyn is definitely the man for her.  And, with that, if the show holds true to form, she will turn him down in the final two but holy cow I cannot imagine for who.  None of the other men even remotely get my attention like Kiptyn does.  I’ve already told you, he is from Encinitas, California and still lives there and works as a business developer. 

Unless you are blind, stupid or have 15 other guys to at least check out, I can’t imagine how anyone could even let the show go on.  I am totally smitten with Kiptyn and I  just can’t imagine letting this go any longer.

Come on Jillian, pull a big one on the ol’ Bachelorette folks who are accustom to pulling the punches.  Put a stop to this now and give ol’ Kiptyn the green light to steal your heart.

Take Kiptyn, send the rest on the road and the two of you can just sit around and enjoy the rest of the show’s hot dates and fun times (in the hot tub, without the cameras) and then just get right on into the end of the thing. 

Honestly, I’ve never picked one this soon, well unless you count the fact that I knew Shayne Lamas was going to be chosen in that season and look where that got them.  I knew she was going to be chosen and I knew it was going to be a mistake - but you can make these folks in these pre-recorded shows listen to you, lol.

Ok, so yea, I am sure you are seeing a theme by now.  And, it’s very possible that Sasha could be gone by the time you get around to read this but in my opinion, he needs to stick around and give Jillian an opportunity to get to know him.  He is a big strong guy and we know that because, hey, they showed him on his job and he is an oil & gas consultant in Tiki Islands, Texas but he still calls Houston his hometown.

And, honestly, did you see him, he looks hot.  I don’t have to tell you that I am not into blondes really because I have mentioned that many times on this site and I think it is pretty obvious by my choices that I like dark skin and dark haired men.  But, Sasha, holy mother of Sasha, he looks good and hey, he got a rose last week, let’s see what happens now.  Will Jillian keep him around long enough to get to know him.  I hope so because I was totally into his introduction on the show when they were at his jobsite and then of course, how can you forget his meeting Jillian for the first time. 

Yea, I like him, ok.  Yea, I know he isn’t a brunette.  Yea, I got that already but I do like him and like him a lot.  He is 27 years old but seems much more mature than most 27 year old guys that I met when I was dating.  But, just look at this big nice white smile in this photo…don’t tell me that even if you like brunettes too, you can’t help but smile when you see this photo.

So we have Kiptyn who is a Business Developer at the ripe age of 31.  He is from Encinitas, California and he has continued to in the exact area where he grew up.  As I watched the show last night, Kiptyn did not disappoint.  He was polite and hey, he is gorgeous.  Add in that he really was pretty classy with his behavior in the first night, heck, I might be ready to marry him. 

Ok, I am just kidding.  I just wonder, with Jillian being from Canada, if someone like Krypton will be willing to move his business or his career to Canada?  I honestly don’t know what I would do.  But, you know, love is love and if you find yourself on the Bachelorette and I found love with one of 25 men that a producer picked for me, I think I’d have to be willing to do most anything.

Quotes from around the blogosphere today all show Kipton as a favorite as well.  I wrote the above part before I started searching to see what others were saying.  Quotes like "I love Jillian – I think she offers a fresh take on the series after the major drama of the Jason season. Personally, I pick Kipton or Jake as the front-runners!” and “The season is looking really good. Jillian is an honest and nice person and i think for the first time in bachelorette history she is looking for her real love. I am so excited to keep watching. My pick is Kipton!”

So, yea, I think I picked a nice guy, eh

I am up late, once again and I am actually feeling better right no but I didn’t feel well earlier.  I went to bed with the boys at 7:30 or so and slept til 10:30 and now I am back up and working.  I was and am so seriously behind on blog posting and I seriously, I needed that little break which has left me now, at 1:20 in the morning feeling better.  The sad part is, I have to be up and headed to Birmingham for blood work.  So, I can’t sleep well at night and do so much better when I  can sleep on my own schedule.

So, now here we go to finish checking out the men that Jillian will be checking out on the show.  So, I am going to give you the finishing touches on these guys.  I’ll start with Robby.  A 25 year old bartender from Houston Texas.  Hummm, wonder where he was when I was in Houston.  So, yea, he looks pretty good to me too.

And, one of my all time favorites thus far, you know, in the first hour, is Sasha.  I mean, how many men do you know named Sasha and have no issues with the fact that their name is a bit odd?  I mean, I personally have an odd name but it is becoming more popular every day.  But, I would think it would be touch to be a Sasha in the world today as a man.

So, what is it that a man named Sasha does for a living?  He is an Oil and Gas Consultant in Tiki Islands Texas.  Yea, for real, and he looks pretty doggone good too.

I am going to exercise my right to not say anything at all if I can’t say something nice and introducing you to Simon who is 26 and a Soccer Coach.  He is originally from Bradford England but currently resides in Baltimore Maryland.  He is just eh, ok, for me.  I give you Simon…

And, again, the same is kind of true for Stephen who is 30 years old and is a practicing lawyer in New York, NY but grew up in Lexington, MA.  All I can say is, here you go, what do you think?

I am a bit confused how the show could find 2 guys named Tanner because I really don’t know too many people sporting that name and here, here they have 2 of them.  The first one is Tanner F who is a 28 year old Sales Representative who grew up in Derby, KS and now resides in Denver, CO.  So, again, here we go with the light hair qualities.

And, if that wasn’t strange enough for you, look at Tanner P because, hello, they actually resemble an I am sure that having the same color of shirt on doesn’t help matters.  But, Tanner P is 30 and a financial analyst in Dallas Texas and grew up in Brownfield, Texas.

And, shutting down the preview of the new round of The Bachelorette comes via a hottie named Wes.  He is 32 and a muscian from Huntsville, Texas who now resides in Autin, Texas where he is pursing his career.

Ok, so I got my people all mixed up but I think I have it all worked out now.  So, honestly when people say first impressions are everything.  And then, this is most definitely case here because when they did the introductions, before the guys met Jillian, I was hooked.  By whom?

Well my first sight impression and my first sight for a an is Kiptyn and well, have you see his photo?  He just has this genuine love of life and his awesome activity level and run for life.  He is a 31 Business Developer from Encinitas, California which honestly, I have no idea where that is but he still lives there so he apparently feels comfortable and at home there wouldn’t you say?

And, moving right along, there is Kyle and honestly, I simply can’t get past his big head and goofy grin.  I know that is superficial but if looks didn’t matter, this blog wouldnt be about hot men now would it?  Kyle is 26 and a graphic designer who works out of Brooklyn, NY but hails from Austin Texas.  When you see some of his clothing items, you’ll understand what I am talking about.

The ol’ saying that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, well, Mark, a pizza entrepreneur in Denver Colorado is actually thinking way ahead and has already asked Jillian what she liked as toppings on her pizza.  And, to be honest, I am not really that awestruck with Mark myself.

And, here we are looking at another blondie and honestly, I have never really big a big fan of blondes.  Well, actually, I love looking at hot men regardless of the color of their hair but I can honestly say I have never been in a long-term relationship with a blonde. 

So, take a look at Mathue, age 26 is a personal trainer and he grew up in Andover Kansas and now he reside in Wichita Kansas.

How about a dancer?  I mean, we aren’t talking ballroom dancing and the like, we are talking about a 25 year old man who is a break dance instructor who grew up in Tacoma, Washington and currently teaches break dancing in Astoria, New York.

And, naturally, a man after my own heart, a nice looking man, yea, hot and at 28 years of age, he owns a baseball camp in New City, NY and currently lives in New York, NY.  I am thinking that this is one hot man…one hot man…

And, Reid is probably one of the many men on the show that is probably very upset about the economy and will be on the look out for a new job as it all starts to wind down.  You see, Reid is a 30 year old realtor in Philadelphia PA an I hope the housing market is in better shape there than it is here.
