TV Boyfriends

I’ve just become addicted to another one of my husbands crime shows.  There was a time when I refused to watch CSI because I did not understand it.  And, then, I learned to like it and wanted to watch it alot.  And, my husband, changed his mind and moved on to another show.  I’m not sure what all shows have been thrown in there in between the first year of CSI and the now prominent and popular NCIS. 

And, when there are men that look as goo as Michael Weatherly starring on the show regularly, then why not, watch the show, enjoy the eye candy

and keep working it. 

Go ahead and close your eyes at night and lick your lips as you drift off into a dream filled with only hot men.

His character on the show is one as the hot superficial bachelor.  And, I have to admit, it’s kind of funny to see a man play the dumb blonde roll for a change.  But, he hasn’t always been the dumb blonde. 

You can find him in rolls in places lie Dark Angel, The Cosby Show, Loving, Significant Others, Jesse.  His film career has taken him to Charlie Valentine, Trigger Happy, Venus and Mars and Gun Shy.

I’m sorry but none of those sound nears as impressive as his dumb blonde roll on NCIS.

I love that shot above.  He doesn’t appear to be the dumb blonde when he is dressed nicely and has a serious look on his face…and oh speaking of his face…

Those are some really strong facial features wouldn’t you agree?  I mean, who could turn down that face, those eyes..nothing dumb or blonde about that look.

And, if your heart didn’t melt when you scrolled down to this photo, you are just not right yourself.  The grin of a sweet, adorable and priceless man, nothing dumb or blonde here.

And the place wouldn’t be complete without a photo of him in hi NCIS gear that is absolutely stunning.

Without thinking much about it, when I saw the name Mark Harmon, I get giggly.  And, now that we are NCIS watching fools, I look at him, as Agent Gibbs, and I think, wow, is that the same man.  There was a time when he was quite the hottie.  I mean, he was quite a hot hot looking man in his prime.  So, if you have no memories of Mark Harmon in his hot years, let me refresh your memory…

I mean, you know, check that man out?  Is he not the hottest thing on the planet during his prime?  Ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration but he absolutely is gorgeous.

Again, really a sexy man don’t you think?

And, then…he becomes the star of CBS’s highly touted NCIS.  He plays Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs which just cracks me up every time I hear him addressed as Jethro.  Sorry, I can’t help myself.

I love the character he plays on NCIS and the more I catch up on the earlier shows through these marathons on holiday weekends, the more interested I become in the how and his character.  And, his desire to built a boat is something I can definitely associate with since my husband is always trying to construct a boat himself and to be perfectly honest, we don’t have any water and he seems to tart over when he gets almost finished so we will probably have just as many boats brewing in our house as Agt. Gibbs does.

This is my fourth of July edition an I feel that to honor someone who serves our country is the way to go.  This man is famous however, a stint on The Bachelor has probably ruined any chance at the rest of us ever getting to see him.  I just hope that since I posted about him originally in April 3, 2007 and as one of Friday Eye Candy participants on Mama Pop. 

In the meantime, Dr. Baldwin has continued on with his humanitarian efforts and you can read those here.  So, I have to ask you, can you think of anyone more deserving of  Fourth of July Feature?

There’s a close up, don’t leave me though, I have more awesome photos coming up.  But, don’t we all want to think that this Navy Doctor who was on The Bachelor is just a normal guy, doing a normal work.  Well, I’m sorry, no matter how you try to twist it, he is not just a normal guy doing a normal work.  Even if you call him a normal guy, the work he does is more than just crazy awesome.

And, to see this man walking into an exam room would be enough to send most anyone into fits.  But, if you read through his blog, you see photo upon photo of Andy simply being a normal doctor but performing a great work.  And, I might be wrong, but people who work like Dr. Baldwin do, they don’t do it for the glamour and if you think they do, just read a few of the posts about how unglamours his work in unprivilvidgge areas really is.  He is special, even if he doesn’t want to be. 

And, these photos, well they just don’t hurt one bit now do they?

I sent the good doc the link and I’d love to see at least one comment from him especially since we’ve exposed him quite openly here.  But, the fact is, he is more than just a pretty face.  I encourage you to keep reading his blog.

Ok, so how horrible is it going to be to have to self-proclaimed big ego’s on the show at once.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a reality show with two ego’s as big as the ones this guy (along with Brayden) are sporting. 

Russell is 24 and he too is from California.  He is a mixed martial arts fighter and a commercial real-estate broker.  He is described as being loud and brash.  He even says he holds nothing back and is ready for the fight. 

Then, he goes on to say that his biggest pet-peeve is people who don’t think before they act.  And with more cocky than any one person can stand, he says that nothing scares him and he lives by the motto that if you are not smiling, you are not living. 

Does he think he makes everyone smile just by looking at him and hearing him say he is a love muscle.  He even said in his interview that he was named that in college because he was on the wrestling team and they all had to shower together and his teammates named him that.

Oh please…….ewwwwwwwwwwwww Now, let me add, he has the look of someone I would most definitely find hot except….when he opens his mouth, craziness comes out of his mouth. 

If he could just stop right there, smile for the camera and then be humble, I would be seriously in love but we all know that when these folks start opening their mouth, craziness start spewing from them and then….well buddy, you get kicked out of the house, that’s what.

I know it’s crazy to think that all these reality show contestants can be what their profiles say they are and in some cases, if I were the contestant, I’d be kind of offended by the whole thing. 

It should come as no surprise that the two guys that look worth swooning over this year are very very cocky.  As in they are cocky enough to be disgusting. 

First there is Brayden.  He is 29 and lives in California.  He is a surfer and model and he doesn’t mind saying that he thinks he is gorgeous.  And, he says, he plans to be two-faced. 

I look at him and I watched his interview and honestly, I could be more repulsed.  But, it’s my job to show you the men, your job to decide if you want to daydream about them. 

And, listen I love me some cocky men, I love my men self-confident but I’m going to tell you, this guy just did not impress me at all.  Maybe it’s this photo and the way he looks so…..bored…how can you have your photo for a national reality show taken and you look bored.

And to listen to the guy talk and know that he is a surfer ut is afraid of drowning is quite comical and honestly, does this guy not just ooooze cocky?

So, it will be interesting to see how this self-proclaimed egomaniac jerk will do on the show.  I mean, I just don’t see him doing well, but you never know.
