TV Boyfriends

I’m still working on a list of hot men forwarded to me from a reader and if I have to say so myself, this woman man has some great tastes.  I mean, really, check out Marc Blucas…yum nom nom nom.  And the most amazing part is that he has been around for quite some time and I’ve never noticed.  How could that be possible?

First of all, way back in 1996 he started with Eddie, then Pleasantville in 1998.  He moved on to the likes of House on Haunted Hill, Summer Catch, Sunshine State and coming up in 2010 he will be in a film entitled Mother and Child.

But if you want to talk television, you gotta check out Clueless, Undressed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, House and Eleventh Hour.  I’m having a good time checking out all these hot men that my readers are sending me.  And, with that, some of these hotties have even made contact with me and while I am happily married, it doesn’t stop me from being excited to hear from the people that I write about. 

Honestly, who wouldn’t love to chat with some of these men who happen to be doing miraculous work in their community.  Brett Zak is a dentist in Orlando and well I’m sure you all know Andy Baldwin from The Bachelor.  It’s not like we are big friends or anything, but they did send a thank you my way which was pretty cool.

So, if you know someone you want featured, you know someone I’ve already featured feel free to send me some ideas, I love featuring people who are special to my readers.

Ok, I just lost a huge post that I loved.  So, I’ll have to back up now.  All the guys said Jake was too perfect.  Jillian said he was too perfect.  He does seem like a great guy.  Sasha (another bachelor) said that Jake pulled a “Mesnick” (which is when a guy leans over a hotel railing and cries over a girl a la Jason Mesnick from the last Bachelor).  And, Sasha was really ugly talking about Jake and Jake ended up cursing and using the f word.  Then, Sasha used it and Chris Harrison used it by saying it was the first time they had to use the bleep for the F word on the shows history.

Anyway, back to Jake…he really is precious and I hope he is the next Bachelor.  One of the audience members asked him if he still had feelings for Jillian and he sad he would always have some feelings for her.  And, when asked if he would be the next Bachelor he just said that he hadn’t recovered for this season and certainly had not thought that far in advance. 

I definitely hope he is the next Bachelor because he does deserve someone who can and will be good to him.  I’ve written about him quite a bit because he really made an impression on me in the first episode.  You can find those articles, here, here, here, here, here and here.

Yea I liked him, can you tell?  I don’t know that I have liked another Bachelor as much as I like Jake since the first season when Dr. Andy Baldwin became my choice of a great catch.

When I hear the name Lombardi I immediately think football.  And, of course any vision of men in tight pants with big muscles would make me take a second look.  But, this Lombardi is an American actor from the television series Rescue Me as the firefighter Mike Silletti.  And, so as long as we are thinking of hot men, let’s go ahead and check this guy out.

I mean, I can look at Terrell Owens, Tiki and Rondell Barber and hey what about some more hotties on the field, we might as well go ahead and check out this Lombardi that is just hot and not playing football.  So, let’s talk about an actor Lombardi not a football player that’s hot.

So, go look for Mike Lombardi and find Rescue Me, Cayman Went, Six Degrees, Banshee, Prescriptions, The Job and way back in 2002 he was part of Saturday Night Live.

I am still working on the list of hotties off of Sven’s list but sometimes, even when I don’t mean to, I run into guys who keep showing up on gay porn sites.  So, be careful if you google for photos of some of these hotties because you really might get more than you bargain for. 

Now that photo there, that one is hot hot hot.  And, here’s one too…

I have to admit, I love the photos with no shirt because you can always get some hot abs but these photos are darn right sexy if you ask me.

Matt is an actor and model best known for his roles as Horace Calloway in the short-lived ABC political drama Commander in Chief.  And, then, he was the voice over of Anakin Skywalker in the animated film Star Wars.  He joined the cast of 90210 as Liam and became a regular on the show before the next season.

As for TV, this guy’s been all over.  He looks so young in these photos

I mean, I know I am no young cat nor am I as old as dirt but this guy really looks like a kid.  I mean, you know a kid as in maybe my son kind of kid.  But, we are going to put that aside for now and continue to talk about how good looking this guy is.  His career started in 2005 with 8 Simple Rules, Point Pleasant, Big Love and then we’ve already discussed his brief stint on the Commander in Chief.  He was then part of the cast of Heroes, Shark (one of my favorite shows that didn’t make it long) CSI, Monk, Greys Anatomy along with Life, The Oaks and as I already mentioned, Star Wars and the 90210.

So, when I see this photo, at least I see a man, not a kid.  Maybe a hard working, sweaty-I’ve-run-a-mile-just-for-you kind of sweat.  I can take that, I can absolutely take that he is not a kid when I see this photo.

And honey sweet honey, this photo…this photo is absolutely hot hot hot.  He really is a gorgeous hunk if you check that last photo out.  I’ll take that hot body any day….yummmmy.  Nom Nom Nom.

Robert Buckley has a decree in economics degree from the University of California, San Diego.  He worked as an economic consultant for some time and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career on the screen.  While in college, Buckley appeared on The Price is Right.  One of his bids was for one dollar less than another contestant.  Bob Barker noted that it wasn’t he smartest bid that he could have made. 

Luckily for Buckley made a career for himself on My Network TV prime-time drama’s.  He was a photographer named Michael Bauer on Fashion House and Matthew Wakefield on American Heiress.  He then appeared in one episode of Ghost Whisperer in 2007 and a recurring role in Lipstick Jungle in 2008 and 2009.  He was in Killer Movie and Robot Battle and in a Lifetime original Flirting with Forty.  He co-starred with Heather Locklear and currently has a guest role on the CW’s show Privileged.

And now, now he has been announced as Clayton, a sports agent on the CW’s One Tree Hill.

Listen, you all know how much I love some abs and this guy has some abs.  He has a six pack, a for real six pack and just look at them….rippling and begging for…..oh my, I better stop, this is not an x-rated site.

Can you imagine walking down the street and seeing a man looking like Robert in those gray shorts just lumbering down the sidewalk?  Oh yea, it would make everything I’ve ever dreamed worth it.  Too bad there’s not too many men that look like that walking around where I live.  Whew, I mean really, what do you folks think of this hottie?

Alas, I realize I have missed a large majority of the hotties on TV.  Because the reader, Sven that sent these gems my way is one more TV Boyfriends fan.  She can spot these men a mile away apparently.  So, who do we feature today?  Michael Trucco is one of those hotties.  He started out back in 1997 with Pensacola:  Wings of Gold and Confessions of a Sexist Pig in 1998. 

Then, he made a big appearance on the great show Charmed.  I was never a regular viewer of Charmed but we have watched quite a bit of it since then as my husband loves to watch stuff that he has on DVR and Charmed is one of those shows.  If you are looking for him, check out Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, The Groomsmen, Tru Calling, Battlestar Galactica, One Tree Hill and if that’s not good enough, you can start in 2007 catching him on Eli Stone, The Big Bang Theory and Law and Order:  SVU

How in the world could I have missed such a pretty face.  I mean honestly, I thought I’d covered every man on this Earth by now but lo and behold, ask the readers and you will find more men than you ever had a clue existed.  Now, I had no clue who Erik Palladino was but once I saw his photo, nom nom nom, I was like, oh wow, how did I miss him. 

He is just one bit TV star and he looks good.  What else do you need to make a great TV Boyfriend than those 2 things?  He has had a pretty lengthy television career too.  It started back in 1996 with a show I’ve never heard of called Love and Marriage.  But if you fast forward from 1996 to 1999, he did a 2 year gig on ER and then Finders Fee in 2001. 

We all know that each and every Law & Order is special and Erik’s stint on Law & Order:  Special Victims Unit was made that much more special in 2003 when he joined in the fun.  Since that time, he has been spreading his love in Joan of Arcadia, Over There, CSI, Hotel California in 2009 and then he hit one of my all time favorite shows, Criminal Minds in 2008.

Too bad I don’t remember him in Criminal Minds but the fact is, I rarely see anyone on that show, what with Shemar Moore being there to look out.  Finally he was part of Reaper in 2009 and finished off just lately in Private Practice.

And, with that, I give you…Erik…

You’ve been warned, if you do not want to read the spoiler, then skip this post, otherwise, let’s talk about The Bachelorette.  Will it be Kypton (my choice for Jillian on the first or second show) or Ed (the oe who left, come back and now has pull a wild flower out of his arse)?

For those of you following, Kypton is the one that hte spoilers say that Jillian chooses and to be honest with you, why not, he is al that a bag fries too.  I’ve done pretty well picking mates for these Bachelors and Bachelorettes.  If they would just listen to me.

Anyway, next weeks show is the group show where the contestants tell all.  I have my doubts that Wes even shows up and after what he did and after he made Jillian and his own mother (have he no respect) look like fools on national television, I hope he doesn’t come back. 

And, there was a hint of some information about Jake.  Who knows, will he be the next Bachelor?  I didn’t start watching this show until the season with the Navy Doctor Andy Baldwin and he has a great blog now too.  And, now, he sends me an occasional tweet.

Will Jake be the next Bachelor?

Ok, enough already.  This Jessie fellow lost last year at Big Brother.  And now, he is back in the house.  And, I don’t care what anyone says, that first contest was rigged.  I mean, they split the folks up into the geeks, the populars, the off-kilter and the athletes.  Then, the first contest is one of brute and strength.  Pure brute and strength.

And, with that, Jessie was brought back into the house and named Head of Household.  And, just look, this is last year’s Big Brother photo

Now, yes, he has a cute face and yes, it is obvious that has a bit of the “muscle-tude” going on.  But, when he came back into the Big Brother House last week, holy cow ya’ll, that is not natural.  And now, before I barely get turned around good, he is plastered all over the sites labeled gay. 

What the heck?  How do people know?  I mean, I never hear some of these people say, “I am gay.” I just see their photos showing up on my Google search and I am led straight to  gay porn site.  Why is that?

Now, surely you all know by now I am a sucker for some hot abs but people, he doesn’t even look like that now on the show.  He is way bigger than that and not in a good way really.  I mean, I could get used to looking at that body, but then….there’s this…

This is weird.  And, again, he is bigger now than he is in this photo.  And, what the heck is he doing?  Look at this photo, it’s even more strange…

What in the heck is he doing?  I mean, did he really need to get back in the Big Brother game?  Is he not making a killing modeling?  If not, he needs a better agent because I would need some serious cash before I would be photographed in some of these poses.

Ok, you guys know I aim to please around here.  I got some emails with some suggestions and very rarely have I written about a man on this blog that didn’t appeal to my female senses.  I mean, hey, it’s my blog, I can do what I want, right?

But, I did get a suggestion for Alexander Skarsgard and I was like WHO?  You know some people have selective listening, I have selective writing.  So, first thing I do of course is google the man because hey, I do aim to please, remember.

…and I thought to myself…ack, he is not good looking, how can he be a good TV Boyfriend?  So, I kept searching…

Ack still not liking this guy…let me see what else I can find…I find that he is from Sweden and he is not only an actor but a director.  I keep reading….I find out he was in a lot of Swedish movies and then…names I recognize…Generation Kill and True Blood……hum… let me keep looking…

I find out that in 2003 he co-directed To Kill a Child with Bjome Larson.  Humm…I need good looks…all that sounds well and good but you know, this is purely our imagination here and we have to have a guy that’s easy on the eyes.

And I am in love.  Ok, not in love because you all know Wentworth Miller is who I love but hummmm this photo, this guy (not the ones above) but this one, this guy here….oh yea, he looks hot.  Why is there a difference?  I have no clue but the first 2 do not appeal to me at all but this last one…nom nom nom.

I am always on the prowl for men who qualify as TV Boyfriends and a reader sent me some information on a former featured Boyfriend, Andy Baldwin to be exact.  And, so I asked her if she had any favorites and she said that she had met Kevin Costner and he was a great guy. 

He doesn’t really qualify as a TV Boyfriend in a lot of ways.  I associate him with movies but you’d be surprised at the places you can find him on the television.

So, let’s talk about him for a minute.  He is an American actor, musician and producer.  Yea, did you knows he was a musician?  Me either, how cool is that?  He has won 2 Oscars and a Golden Globe Award.  He has been in Dances with Wolves, JFK, The Untouchables and the one I remember the most, Field of Dreams.

His wife was the one to encourage him to start a singing career and his band was even on a world wide tour that started in October 2007.  He has performed in Istanbul and Rome. It also performed at NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Daytona International Speedway and Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.

His album peaked at #61 on the Billboard Top Country Albums and #35 on the Top Heatseekers chart.  He has had hree singles ("Superman 14", "Long Hot Night" and "Backyard") have been released to radio, although neither has charted. The single "Superman 14" has been made into a live music video.

And other places, Night Shift, The Big Chill, Fandango, Bull Durham, Revenge, Dances with Wolves which was nominated for many awards, The Bodyguard, Wyatt Earp and in 2009, The New Daughter.

Yea, I think he qualifies as a dream Boyfriend even if he doesn’t really specialize in TV gigs.

YUMMMMMMY NOM NOM NOM

I rarely discover shows all on my own.  I mean, I watch whatever is on and eventually I end up with an addiction to some of the craziest shows you can imagine.  But, that  does make it easy for me to find hotties all over the TV circuit when because he tends to watch a lot of stuff that I normally wouldn’t give a second look. 

I have managed to feature the best looking guys on NCIS in Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly.  So, we move right along to the last Special Agent on NCIS is Sean Murray who plays Special Agent Timothy McGee.  He has a really corney role and he is constantly trying to prove himself.  He plays an extremely smart agent and he is really good at what he does.

He has had starring roles in The Random Years and a supporting role in Harts of the West on CBS.  He has made guest appearances on shows including JAG, Boston Public and ER.  He has also appeared in some feature films such as Hocus Pocus and This Boy’s Life.  He starred as Todd Fields in To Romantic.

I actually think he plays his geeky nerdy role in a way that makes him just down right appealing.  What about you?  What do you think?

In that picture he looks very dignified to say the least.  I went in search of photos of him from some of his other appearances and these are the ones I ran into.  Tell me if you now where we can find Sean on other shows.  I”m always up for additions to our little clique here on TV Boyfriends.

After looking at these other photos, you can get a good grip on his role as a geek, computer geek, gadget geek, etc.  Does he crank your tractor?

I am going to search through my archives and see if I have written about him before.  He got my attention today as he sang at the Memorial Service of Michael Jackson.  I started to feature Michael Jackson but you know, what can I say that hasn’t already been said. 

1.  Respect the dead.

2.  Where were all these supporters when he was self-distructing?

3.  I pray for his children to find Peace.

4.  Remember the good times, it’s the only way to remember your loved ones.

5.  He was a pop star to us and we might think we mourn, but he was someone’s son, brother, uncle, and father.  They need some space.

And, with that, he was someone’s friend too.  A friend to  young performer by the name of Usher.  Yes, Usher.

Usher sang today at the Memorial Service along with many other celebrities.  But at the end of his song, he noticeably broke down and struggled to finish his song.

So, while I like to look at photos of the man like

but today, the man we saw was one where we could actually see his tender heart, his love for another man and not being embarrassed to say that Michael Jackson meant the world to him.

You can see the dark glasses.  They were a staple for almost all the men today.  I can’t imagine how they could see but I do know that they should have removed the glasses and let the world know that they are human, eyes red and irritated from crying is just normal.  And, if you look at this photo, you can see that usher is a very attractive man, not just for his six pack but he has attractive facial features as well.

And, with that, close your eyes and listen to an emotional Usher as he sings to his friend, Michael Jackson.

Wow, this was totally unprompted by the fact that I had previously written bout these two.  I don’t remember writing it because I’ve written so much lately about MJ.  But, I wrote about this relationship here just the other day.

Since I am already on the NCIS site, I figured I might as well go ahead and feature the last member of the cast who is a regular.  So, you get Rocky Carroll. 

For those of you who haven’t watched this show before, the show is basically about the Navy Crime Investigators and the shows generally surround military deaths.  Like duh, you didn’t need that part of the info right.

The show is well written in my opinion with tons of snark and comedy if you pay attention.  If you plan to watch while multi-tasking, you will probably miss some of their jokes.  Either way, Rocky Carooll places on NCIS is the Assistant Director of the NCIS and his name on the show, Leon Vance.

He is on the show on a regular basis but you have to watch a lot of the shows to get to see him much.  But with the NCIS marathons of late, we have mobs of these on DVR just waiting on to check them out.  And, as I write this, I am indeed, watching some of the shows on dvr.
