I don’t know if one would refer to me as crazy, insane or just a plain ol’ blog hog…but I have a few blogs and I’m preparing to launch a group blog……anyone have any late night issues…I’m an incurable insomniac. You can always find me on twitter as jareason. As it is, I am attempting to bribe another woman named Jerri Ann into giving me that twitter name but so far, no luck. I’ll let you know if it pans out. And, I am also trying to buy the domain jerriann.com from the person who owns it as it has sat since 2004 with the same photo of “under constructin” type info on it. And, stay tuned for an upcoming group blog endeavor. Scarry? Yes, indeed!

I know this is a little off-kilter here on the ol’ TV Boyfriends spot but, I must tell you that I didn’t do Elizabeth Fournier justice when I posted her work here a couple of weeks ago.  I know you’ve all heard the story a million times, I broke my ankle, I’ve been wearing a cast since January, I’ve tried to go to conferences and my kids baseball and then I had surgery and in the meantime, I asked for guest posters.  But, you know what happened?  I got so consumed in the beauty of Orlando and the fact that my doggone 8 day old computer went on the blitz that I just didn’t do this great author justice.

So, blog world, meet Elizabeth Fournier, author of My blind dating memoir is called, "All Men Are Cremated Equal: My 77 Blind Dates."  And, since we discuss men a lot around here, well duh, I thought finding one through 77 blind dates would make some interesting chatter.

 After she got over her dream of being a Solid Gold Dancer, Fournier promptly headed into the local funeral home and asked for a job, any job. She became the live-in night keeper which meant she resided in a trailer in the far reaches of a large, hilly cemetery and slept with a shotgun near her bed. It was the scariest summer of her life.

She is currently the voice of the autopsy exhibit in the forensic wing at the United
States National Museum of Medicine and a full-time mortician. She is also a ballroom dance instructor at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. But she couldn’t resist writing the story of her unusual method of dating that led her to the love of her life.

Yea, this should make reading her book that much more interesting.  I am currently getting ready to read her book so I can do a review of it.  But, as with a couple of other books, I had to go chase down at my mom’s house because she got to it before I did.

So, go ahead, check her out, she won’t disappoint.

Yea, that’s what I was thinking myself.  In reality the first thing that come to my mind was Bruce Jenner really ya’ll, he might have been ok in his day but, now, he really doesn’t do much for me.  But Jenner is an entirely different situation and oh my, entirely different in the hot body department too.

Wanna know one of the things that makes him sexy to me is his thoughts on his present girlfriend and his willingness to admit that the relationship night not work and if it doesn’t then by all means, don’t be be shy about speaking out in reference to where you would start to wonder  Basically he says that his present relationship with Jayden Nicole who just happens to be the 2008 playmate of the year is working out nicely.  But, if something happens and there is a change in heart, he would definitely head t0 the Victoria Secret goddess Adrianna Lima and maybe even give Sports Illustrated[so cover girl Bar Rafaela.

And what is so appealing about that you ask?  A man that knows what he wants for one thing and a man who isn’t afraid to say that looks matter.  I mean, really we can all sit around and shoot the bull all we want about nice partners, caring and forgiving partners but reality says, yea, the looks do matter.

And, for a man with the looks of a Body Jenner hanging out in the wings, I have to tell you that maybe I am just as shallow is he is because arm….he looks good and I would look good standing on the red carpet with him, don’t you think?  Something that Jenner is quoting as saying in the TV Guide though is that he has a low tolerance for bad breath.

Hamm really now, don’t most folks have a low tolerance for this sad fact?  He says he doesn’t care how hot your are, keep scope on you at all times.  This I find quite amusing…Materialistic kind of guy, sure sounds like it but guess what, who cares when….when you are Brody Jenner and you look like Brody Jenner.

Ok, so yea, I am sure you are seeing a theme by now.  And, it’s very possible that Sasha could be gone by the time you get around to read this but in my opinion, he needs to stick around and give Jillian an opportunity to get to know him.  He is a big strong guy and we know that because, hey, they showed him on his job and he is an oil & gas consultant in Tiki Islands, Texas but he still calls Houston his hometown.

And, honestly, did you see him, he looks hot.  I don’t have to tell you that I am not into blondes really because I have mentioned that many times on this site and I think it is pretty obvious by my choices that I like dark skin and dark haired men.  But, Sasha, holy mother of Sasha, he looks good and hey, he got a rose last week, let’s see what happens now.  Will Jillian keep him around long enough to get to know him.  I hope so because I was totally into his introduction on the show when they were at his jobsite and then of course, how can you forget his meeting Jillian for the first time. 

Yea, I like him, ok.  Yea, I know he isn’t a brunette.  Yea, I got that already but I do like him and like him a lot.  He is 27 years old but seems much more mature than most 27 year old guys that I met when I was dating.  But, just look at this big nice white smile in this photo…don’t tell me that even if you like brunettes too, you can’t help but smile when you see this photo.

So we have Kiptyn who is a Business Developer at the ripe age of 31.  He is from Encinitas, California and he has continued to in the exact area where he grew up.  As I watched the show last night, Kiptyn did not disappoint.  He was polite and hey, he is gorgeous.  Add in that he really was pretty classy with his behavior in the first night, heck, I might be ready to marry him. 

Ok, I am just kidding.  I just wonder, with Jillian being from Canada, if someone like Krypton will be willing to move his business or his career to Canada?  I honestly don’t know what I would do.  But, you know, love is love and if you find yourself on the Bachelorette and I found love with one of 25 men that a producer picked for me, I think I’d have to be willing to do most anything.

Quotes from around the blogosphere today all show Kipton as a favorite as well.  I wrote the above part before I started searching to see what others were saying.  Quotes like "I love Jillian – I think she offers a fresh take on the series after the major drama of the Jason season. Personally, I pick Kipton or Jake as the front-runners!” and “The season is looking really good. Jillian is an honest and nice person and i think for the first time in bachelorette history she is looking for her real love. I am so excited to keep watching. My pick is Kipton!”

So, yea, I think I picked a nice guy, eh

I know for a while I was hung up on Wentworth Miller, hey wait, I still am hung up on Wentworth Miller.  But, anyway, I’m trying to spread my love around and while my husband sits and watches The Unit on Sunday nights, I sit and gaze into the eyes of Scott Foley. 

Foley is known for his television role on Felicity as Noel Crane and believe it or not, I never saw that show so I can’t imagine what all I missed.  He also been in movies like Forever Love, Someone to Love Me:  A  Moment of  Truth Movie, Crowned and Dangerous as well as his guest appearances on House, Jack & Bobby and Scrubs. 

And, if you happen to be looking for him on the film circuit, you can catch yim in Below, Rennie’s Landing and Scream 3.  And, as I have already mentioned, my love for him become real as he plays Bob Brown on The Unit.  And, trust me, there’s plenty of hot men on that show to gaze out, so if Scott is just not your type, you should check out some of the others to see if maybe they float your boat.

Early in his career, he was the buzz around Sweet Valley High, Crowned and Dangerous, Step by Step and Dawson’s Creek.  I have to say, those aren’t my kind of shows but definitely The Unit is exactly the kind of shows I like to watch.

So, what do you think?  Is he hot or not?  Is this your kind of TV or do you prefer other actors on other shows.  Because, really, this kind is awesome.

I am up late, once again and I am actually feeling better right no but I didn’t feel well earlier.  I went to bed with the boys at 7:30 or so and slept til 10:30 and now I am back up and working.  I was and am so seriously behind on blog posting and I seriously, I needed that little break which has left me now, at 1:20 in the morning feeling better.  The sad part is, I have to be up and headed to Birmingham for blood work.  So, I can’t sleep well at night and do so much better when I  can sleep on my own schedule.

So, now here we go to finish checking out the men that Jillian will be checking out on the show.  So, I am going to give you the finishing touches on these guys.  I’ll start with Robby.  A 25 year old bartender from Houston Texas.  Hummm, wonder where he was when I was in Houston.  So, yea, he looks pretty good to me too.

And, one of my all time favorites thus far, you know, in the first hour, is Sasha.  I mean, how many men do you know named Sasha and have no issues with the fact that their name is a bit odd?  I mean, I personally have an odd name but it is becoming more popular every day.  But, I would think it would be touch to be a Sasha in the world today as a man.

So, what is it that a man named Sasha does for a living?  He is an Oil and Gas Consultant in Tiki Islands Texas.  Yea, for real, and he looks pretty doggone good too.

I am going to exercise my right to not say anything at all if I can’t say something nice and introducing you to Simon who is 26 and a Soccer Coach.  He is originally from Bradford England but currently resides in Baltimore Maryland.  He is just eh, ok, for me.  I give you Simon…

And, again, the same is kind of true for Stephen who is 30 years old and is a practicing lawyer in New York, NY but grew up in Lexington, MA.  All I can say is, here you go, what do you think?

I am a bit confused how the show could find 2 guys named Tanner because I really don’t know too many people sporting that name and here, here they have 2 of them.  The first one is Tanner F who is a 28 year old Sales Representative who grew up in Derby, KS and now resides in Denver, CO.  So, again, here we go with the light hair qualities.

And, if that wasn’t strange enough for you, look at Tanner P because, hello, they actually resemble an I am sure that having the same color of shirt on doesn’t help matters.  But, Tanner P is 30 and a financial analyst in Dallas Texas and grew up in Brownfield, Texas.

And, shutting down the preview of the new round of The Bachelorette comes via a hottie named Wes.  He is 32 and a muscian from Huntsville, Texas who now resides in Autin, Texas where he is pursing his career.

Ok, so I got my people all mixed up but I think I have it all worked out now.  So, honestly when people say first impressions are everything.  And then, this is most definitely case here because when they did the introductions, before the guys met Jillian, I was hooked.  By whom?

Well my first sight impression and my first sight for a an is Kiptyn and well, have you see his photo?  He just has this genuine love of life and his awesome activity level and run for life.  He is a 31 Business Developer from Encinitas, California which honestly, I have no idea where that is but he still lives there so he apparently feels comfortable and at home there wouldn’t you say?

And, moving right along, there is Kyle and honestly, I simply can’t get past his big head and goofy grin.  I know that is superficial but if looks didn’t matter, this blog wouldnt be about hot men now would it?  Kyle is 26 and a graphic designer who works out of Brooklyn, NY but hails from Austin Texas.  When you see some of his clothing items, you’ll understand what I am talking about.

The ol’ saying that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, well, Mark, a pizza entrepreneur in Denver Colorado is actually thinking way ahead and has already asked Jillian what she liked as toppings on her pizza.  And, to be honest, I am not really that awestruck with Mark myself.

And, here we are looking at another blondie and honestly, I have never really big a big fan of blondes.  Well, actually, I love looking at hot men regardless of the color of their hair but I can honestly say I have never been in a long-term relationship with a blonde. 

So, take a look at Mathue, age 26 is a personal trainer and he grew up in Andover Kansas and now he reside in Wichita Kansas.

How about a dancer?  I mean, we aren’t talking ballroom dancing and the like, we are talking about a 25 year old man who is a break dance instructor who grew up in Tacoma, Washington and currently teaches break dancing in Astoria, New York.

And, naturally, a man after my own heart, a nice looking man, yea, hot and at 28 years of age, he owns a baseball camp in New City, NY and currently lives in New York, NY.  I am thinking that this is one hot man…one hot man…

And, Reid is probably one of the many men on the show that is probably very upset about the economy and will be on the look out for a new job as it all starts to wind down.  You see, Reid is a 30 year old realtor in Philadelphia PA an I hope the housing market is in better shape there than it is here.

I have to say that Jillian was not one of my favorites.  I think I was so focused on Melissa myself that I let her get completely off my radar.  And, apparently he feel off of Jason’s radar as well because now, now she is a super star in her right as she now gets to do the choosing of the men  And, she met her 25 men and without even realizing what was going on, they throw Jillian and the bachelors along with the viewers a big lop by adding 4 more men…and making 300 mean show up to try to get her attnetion.

So, who better than sonmeone named Julien.  He is a 34 year old restraunteur from San Diego, California and he has stayed true to his rots can calls it home.  I can only wonder who if any will be ready to move to Canada if Jillian asks them to?

And now, we have two guys named John, there is John H and that’s who we are discussing this for now.  He is 27 and a branding conultant in Long Beach California but currently resides in Boise Idaho.

Ok, I give up, what’s in Boise Idaho that’s not in Long Beach California?

And, this is the other John, John P and he is a 29 year old Marketing Specialist from Fort Wayne, IN but currently resides from South Norwalk, Conn.  So, I have to say that at first I wasn’t attracted to this guy at first but honestly, he looks pretty good to me now.

I don’t know if Jillian had a hand of narrowing down the numbers from say 300 to 30 but it seems that many of these men look alike, have similar careers and..to be honest, they remind me a lot of Jason Mesnick who dumped Jillian.

So, with that, I give you Josh, a 25 year old lifeguard originally from Tustin, California but now resides in Newport Beach, California.  So, really, at least he seems to live in awesome place and well…other than that, he looks kind of dorky to me.

Jillian just called this group of men a smorgasbord for her.  And, she is putting her out there, reminding them all how bad her family felt about the whirlpool scene from last seasons The Bachelor when she was the jilted one.  I mean, yes, the scene was a bit awesome and it was terribly true to life.  And, to quote Jillian, “is that not 2 people in love do when they are in a hot tub together?”

And, well, you know, she does have a valid point.  So, I am going to move right along, let’s get to more of her choices.  We have Caleb, age 27 is a photographer from Kansas City, MO an currently resides in Nashville Tenn.

I didn’t realize how young these guys were.  David is 27 and a trucking contractor in Dayton Ohio.  He calls West Alexandria, OH his hometown.  Not much else to say other than his photo is …very photogenic.

What about a man named Ed who….well…I just don’t really now how these guys can allow ABC to use these photo’s.  And, at the same time, he is a 29 year old technology consultant from Monroe Michigan who now calls Chicago his home.  His photo is not near as good as some of the others…I hope he turns out too have a great conversation.

And, for any of you who have been reading here for long, you already know that this hottie named Greg who is an entrepreneur who resides in Scottsdale AZ is way more my type than the good ol’ Alabama boy.  Oh boy, wow!

Oh without a doubt his looks drew me really quick like.  But, it’s time to move on, Jake is 31 and a commercial pilot.  He is from Denton, Texas and now he resides in Lantana Texas.  I have to say that this photo doesn’t do this guy justice because he really looks good on the show.

I can only wonder what it would have been like if these kinds of shows were around in my early 20’s, I can only wonder first if I would have even been given an opportunity to be a Bachelorette or a girl on the Bachelor.  And, I wonder how the compatibility works.  Is there a questionnaire?  Do people just apply like they do on Survivor and Big Brother and send in video’s of themselves?  What is the process, and would I have the ability to put myself on a video or in words could I describe myself as well as describe the kind of man that attracts me. 

Honestly, I have yet to find the greatest guy ever just yet.  I can remember watching this show before and although my choices never really matched with what the bachelor or the bachelorette chosen but I have be good at reading people.  And, mostly, when I look over the guys I have featured, I have basically not felt that any of these guys are true hotties.  I can’t wait to get to know their personalities a little better as we get moving along.

And, with the moving along, I have Jesse  Naturally the name Jesse brings on thoughts of the chosen bachelor for DeAnna Pappas who later changed her mind.  But, I am going to try to get past that and make this work.

Well, I am not sure about this Jesse but this guy is 27 and is a Wine Maker in Roseville, California but halls from Carmel Valley California..  I am not that impressed with his credentials and really, his photo is not really that wonderful either, but we shall see how he a fares with Jill.

Ok, so honestly, I have this deal where I think blonde’s look good but then later, they don’t keep my interest.  But, John H is 27 and a branding consultant in Boise Idaho.  Although he was raised in Long Beach California, he is not living there now and well, Boise Idaho over Long Beach California?  ACK

And, surely you knew when you see the H behind John’s name, there was going to be another John, right?  This John is John P and I really like his profile picture but for some reason he is not standing out to me on the show.  I can remember nothing of him right now.  He is 29 and a marketing specialist who grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana but now resides in South Norwalk, CT.  Ok, sure John, you sure look good, I hope you have a great personality to go with it.

Yea see I just like brunettes for some reason.  That sounds silly coming from a woman, usually the men are the ones who show a particular interest in one or the other.

And, yet another hot brunette on the show is Juan.  And as I mentioned the spoilers are not a good thing so I wont do that to you.  I will tell you Juan was quick to get my attention.  He is 35 and a general contractor in Santa Monica California but that’s not where he grew up, that’s not his heritage.  It is fairly obvious too, he is from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  And, he definitely has a sexy accent to have to work through

So for those of you who don’t follow Jillian was jilted last season on The Bachelor.  And, she was quickly chosen as this year’s Bachelorette.  And, I don’t have to tell you that she is beautiful and the men on this show are looking really really good. I am going to go through the guys that I like in a short synopsis right now, it’s all about first impression and by the time I get to them in on  my feature day, I very well may have changed my mind. 

But, for starters, in alphabetical order and with a brief story line, here comes the guys..

Ok, we have a 27 year old Olympic Cyclist from Santa Barbara California but he currently resides in Long Beach California.

Ok, a 27 year old financial advisor who was born and raise in Park Ridge, Illinois and currently resides in Chicago

. 

Here we go as she is meeting the guys tonight.  There is Brian who is 32 an work sa an IT Specialist in Birmingham, AL.  Now people, we had the great woman in the last season of the Bachelor who had lost the love of her life when their child was really young and now, now we have a great guy on the Bachelorette.  He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

And, believe it or not….another Bryan comes our way.  He is 28 and a high schl coach.  He grew up in Lawton Oklahoma but now resides in Dallas Texas.  He seems to look of to me

I just keeps getting more confusing, here is Bryce who is 31 year old Ft. Lauderdale furniture dealer.  I’ve slightly cheated as I have seen some of the introductions so I have already formed opinion on several of the men.  I’ll try to just be open and give you a look at all the guys before I start in with my personal opinion.

Ok,  if you watch the show, you already know as much as I do, if you haven’t watched it and want to, there are no spoilers here, just brief intro’s to the guys that were put out there for Jillian.

I was sitting outside the principal’s office of my tiny Catholic grade school yet again. Sister Bernadette just couldn’t get her habit around the fact I was in love. She deemed it inappropriate to write "I <heart> Shaun Cassidy!" all over my white pleather Jordache purse with a pink felt pen. I had written the same thing on my pee-chee folder, but that time in purple.
What really Frenched her toast was the forbidden Teen Beat magazine found in my desk. I took a picture of myself and pasted it next to Shaun’s face. I told her he wrote Hey Deanie  for me after he secretly attended my piano recital where I performed a crisp version of Da Doo Ron Ron.
Shaun was dreamy on TV, but in my upstairs bedroom, I was his front row audience. We had a super hush-hush friendship: Shaun, his Adam’s apple, and little old 4th grade me. I wore out the grooves on his vinyl disks. I studied the liner notes of all his albums and even inked in my name as acknowledgment for his inspiration.
The sexier of the two Hardy Boys was pasted inside my closet wall. Not a poster, but an Elmer’s School Paste collage. Every picture, paragraph, and sentence on Shaun I could find was affixed to that chunk of cardboard. Whenever he was on a glossy page, the headline would scream SHAUN!
I made him birthday presents and sent them to the address I found in 16 Magazine. I wrote him letters and included my name, address, and telephone number, but didn’t need to send a photo since I was certain his closet wall held an anthology of me!
Yes, I had intact mental faculties, and no, I didn’t live in the middle of nowhere without a mall or something better to do. Did I want to marry him? Totally no way! I didn’t even want to date him, mind you. Remember when Victoria Principal got all that hate mail for dating Andy Gibb?
Fast forward to 2004. I was sitting alone in my room and was watching a show starring Kate Hudson’s big brother, Oliver, called The Mountain. The credits rolled and Shaun’s name was listed as the executive producer. I felt that familiar gooey emotion akin to Bonnie Bell Lip Gloss and Jean Nate Bath Splash. I was so excited I immediately craved a Candy Stix Cigarette with the famous red tip.

Meet Today’s Guest Poster:

Let’s talk about a very interesting and very good-looking guy named Jensen Ackles. He was born in Dallas, Texas on March 1, 1978. He began his career with modeling at the age of 4. He didn’t start acting seriously until 1997 when he got the role of Eric Brady on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. This was the first time I noticed Jensen. He had many other small television roles before he became Coach Jason Teague on the hit show Smallville in 2004. In 2005 Jensen joined the cast of a CW series called Supernatural as the character Dean Winchester. Jensen stars in Supernatural with another hot young actor by the name of Jared Padalecki. There is even a website that asks the question which actor is hotter!  Mercury News can get you that information.

From the responses it seems that Jensen is the clear winner and I have to agree
He is very talented and in addition to TV and film has acted in theatre.  He made his theatre debut in 2007 as Lt. Daniel Kaffee in A Few Good Men with Lou Diamond Phillips in Fort Worth, Texas at the Casa Manana Theatre.
In 2009, Jensen played the lead male role in a remake of My Bloody Valentine. I saw this movie and thought he did an excellent job as Tom Hanniger. He kept me in suspense until the very end, and it didn’t hurt that he wasn’t bad to look at either.

If you were unsure of how you felt about Jensen before, then after watching this video you will be sure that he is just completely adorable!
