TV Boyfriends

I love to listen to John Mayer’s music.  I could sit and listen to the same songs over and over again honestly.  I am not a big fan of just listening to a certain artist over and over, I usually prefer to just take what ever I get on the radio.  But Mayer’s music has a certain appeal to me.  And, now, now he is sporting a new girlfriend.  No kidding, he is seen smooching on some chick in a car and the paparazzi wasn’t necessarily sure that he knew the girl.  UH?

What do they mean they don’t know if he knows this girl or not?  He’s kissing her right?  I mean, not just a peck, this is a kiss.  You don’t just walk up to folks windows and kiss them like this even if you are John Mayer.  And, what’s really going on?  How come he is in and out of relationships faster than I can write these doggone TV Boyfriend columns?  Amazing uh?

I try not to waste a lot of my time on a lot of these men that are hot.  But, to be honest, John Mayer wasn’t really hot to me until he got hooked up with Jenn and was singing some really gorgeous stuff.  His appeal starts to go away when I find out he kissing strangers on the side of the road.  I mean, really, just walk up to someone, ask them to roll down their window and plant one on their ol’ kisser.  Just looking at these pictures, if I were that girl, I’m not sure I would have recognized him and been so open to just be smooching right there in the public.  As a matter of fact, if you ask me, that dude behind him, which I assume is a body guard, he looks much better.

Now this guy, yea, I’d roll the window down for him anyday…

So, let me see if I can re-cap this right.  Thee was a wreck involving for sure Casey Aldridge. And, according to the Louisiana State Troopers say that three of the five people riding in his truck were ejected during the crash,  including Casey.  And, at one point, they story was that there were only 4 people in the truck. 

According to authorities, he was heading north on 606 in Louisiana early in the morning.  Now, does that mean early in the morning like late at night partying that turned into early in the morning or does that mean like early in the morning like going on a trip and got up early to get a early start? 

Either way, he apparently swerved off the right of the road and then turned back up on the pavement which caused the car to flip.  I happen to drive an automobile that supposedly has a fairly high flip rate so I try to be careful about reaching for things in the seat or looking away.  It’s just so dangerous. 

Two of the passengers refused medical care and Casey was taken to the hospital for moderate injuries.  Now they say they aren’t sure if alcohol was a factor and so, with that, I’m left to believe that indeed, this was the kind of early morning that is really late night. 

Generally speaking, passengers are more than four times likely to die if they are ejected from a car during an accident but in this case, all three that were ejected survived.  This accident thus far is considered a misdeamor and Casey is healing in a Jackson hospital now.

For those of you who are still lost, Casey is the father of Jamie Lynn Spears child.

Josh Freeman wears #1 on his jersey and he was picked in the first round as the 17th pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  I have to tell you that I don’t follow the NFL like I did at one time but back in my day, I’d love to have been moving to Tampa Bay to work.  And, if my work included playing sports, I would have even been more excited.

So, what do we know about Freeman, we know he is a smart, instinctive field general who has spent  most of his time at quarterback and has done quite an outstanding job there.  He is considered to be accurate underneath and does a great job throwing receivers open, allowing them to run after the catch.  He is supposedly really good and deciphering defenses and getting rid of the ball before he finds himself flat on his back. 

So, what does he do wrong?  Well, he is kind of short.  I mean, if you call 6 feet short.  For a quarterback it is a bit short in the NFL and supposedly he finds himself looking for throwing lanes with all the taller and bigger players around him.  He played mostly from the shotgun at Missouri and has to learn to take snaps from the center.  And, it’s possible he really doesn’t have an NFL caliber arm.

Now see, I don’t believe that he is as great as this says he is nor do I buy into the fact that he doesn’t have an NFL arm because, duh, why would they have taken him.  All good things aside, if you are the quarterback and can’t throw well….what are you then??? A running back?

Looks pretty doggone good to me!!!  Do looks matter in his profession?

I hate when I see the same ol’ ads coming through twitter every few minutes.  Even if the link is different, if it is the twitter person, I am not amused.

So, if you don’t mind, oblige me please, especially on the Guest Posting ones, I need some assistance.

You know, I just gave the article about Spurrier’s kicker being drafted the last pick in the 2009 NFL draft.  But, we really should talk about ol’ Steve himself don’t you think?  I mean, he’s been around a while.  And, it doesn’t appear that he is going anywhere by college football standards.  I actually rooted for him for the Alabama job before we got Saban.  But, we got a winner so that’s all good too, right?

Steve Spurrier has been around forever too.  I remember when he coached at Florida and it was all out fight every time they took the field.  I mean, this man was a college quarterback who was awesome by his own standards even.  He knows the game.  He knows how to win.  He knows how to make it work.  He was the Heisman Trophy Winner in 1966 which hey, that was before even I was born.  That means he’s been at the football world for as man years as I am old.  I mean come on, you don’t hang around in a job that long if you aren’t good at it, right?

He let the Florida Gators to one National Championship in 1996 which was during all the years when I remember watching him intently  on the sidelines.  He taught his players to be team players, to listen to their coaches but to also think for themselves.  And, in my personal opinion, that’s what’s most important in the real world anyway, giving college kids the ability to think for themselves, make themselves smarter and better people in our society.  If Steve Spurrier can’t do that, no one can.

He might have been the last guy picked in the 2009 NFL draft but I can bet you one thing, he doesn’t care.  He is in, he’s there, he’s going and he has to be super excited.  South Carolina’s Ryan Succop earned the honor when the Kansas City Chiefs selected him as the 256th and final pick this year.

What do we know about Ryan Succop – enough.  I saw his picture and he certainly appears to look good enough to make a TV Boyfriend by my standards.  He was 20-30 in his field goal attempts including a perfect 30 for 30 in extra points for Steve Spurrier’s team in 2008.  He didn’t make the ALL-SEC team but he was the 5th rated kicker on Mel Kiper’s board. 

Kansas City took 2 kickers this year and saw enough promise in him to take him as one of them.  And, get this, while he is out there making records, he is only the 3rd kicker to ever be selected as the final pick.  So hey, how can you complain?

He is 22 years old and will likely compete with incumbent kicker Connor Barth for the starting position in Kansas City.  And, rumor has it, he’s good for it, he doesn’t seem to have any problems dealing with attention.  Most guys who look like him are quite accustom to attention so hey, he is just simply another college athlete in that sense.

See what I mean, does this look like a guy who’s being bothered by attention?

And more importantly than anything, he graduated.  He isn’t one of those college athletes that put all his chickens in the NFL, and it’s a good thing I guess when you get down to being the last pick, eh?  He’s good for it though, check him out.

Ok, look, I’m struggling here.  Coherent sentences following a good dose of cold and or flu medication has proven to be somewhat difficult.  However, someone did suggest TV Boyfriend for the site and the funny thing, I was looking a photo of him in a magazine and thinking about his role. 

So, who is it?  It’s

..that’s who.  If you don’t want Criminal Minds you should.  It’s a  great show, it’s got the always hawt Shemar Moore and Dr. Reed or Grubler’s character has started to emerge as a ladies man ..not must …just a little…he is very smart and I can see how finding him a woman to flirt with  will be difficult. 

But, they may have….Either way, I wanted to share the hottie that was sent my way and I’m going to bed myself!  What do you think?  Is he hot?  or Not?

Listen I know you are going to think this is a broken record but since Prison Break had a 2 hour show that aired on Friday night, I’m sure you all know exactly what I’ve got on my brain uh?  Yea, no kidding……I’ve got Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell just reeling through my brain.  These guys make great actors and I’m not so sure if I’d want to be running along behind them with their life of crime but in real life, oh yea baby.  We aren’t going to continue the discussion from Jen Lancaster that indicated that possibly Wentworth is gay.

And, even so, I’ve featured plenty of men on this site before that are gay so no need in discriminating now I say.  So, naturally my dreams on Friday night and last night were filled with visions of Dominic and Wentworth dancing in my head.  Hahaha nice Christmas intro there eh?  I know it’s not Christmas but if I had either of these guys at my house, it definitely feel like Christmas.

I went in search of a movies, TV shows, etc where you can find these two in the near future when Prison Break finally ends but I can’t seem to run them down anywhere.  I guess we will have to wait until TMZ or People Magazine can get the inside scoop.  In the meantime, let’s enjoy some photos, ok?

Ok, maybe I won’t feel the need to keep sharing photos of these guys over and over but don’t be surprised if I do when I figure out where we can find them next.

These kids might not technically be TV Boyfriends because duh, I didn’t find them on TV but…I did find them at the nail salon…they were there with girls..yea.  One hot chick and her date were in the nail salon, she was getting something, I’m not sure what but her date was with her.  And, because he was there, two of his buddies showed up for……to use their own words…..”moral support”…..

That cracks me up.  These guys go to school at my Alma Mater and she goes to another school a few miles up the road.  I can tell you there were no boyfriends hanging out at the nail salon when I was a teenager….but these guys..Jay, Cade and Donovan…they were right there…..

The one in the white hat is her date….she has her back to you and the guy sitting beside her is not her date…he is one of the ones there for moral support..hahaha!

And, now….as if you need more proof….look at this next picture…these were taking with my phone so squint if you have to….

So, just in case you are keeping up….these would make great boyfriends….don’t you think?  I think the girls at their school would do well to grab themselves one of these guys because no teenage boy goes to the nail salon to sit with someone else’s date……

I’ve never been one to just look at any ol’ celebrity like they are hawt!  And, Seal is no exception.  He has never been a real attention getter for me.  And, then I saw him in a magazine photo spread with his family and nothing turns me on like seeing a man dote on his wife and kids.  So, from the perspective of him just being a TV Boyfriend, we can keep him for that.  But, it is very apparent that he and his wife are crazy about one another.

And, then, when you hear him sing, you wonder how she ever makes do with that man’s voice around.  I mean, I’d never sleep for begging him to sing to me.  And, now, guess what, I have him right by my bedside every night. 

How you ask?

Well, I happened to win Seal’s New CD “Soul” on a blog which was sponsored by One to One Network and it came today.  I haven’t even listened to it, I’m simply telling you about it because I know it’s gonna be good and I can’t wait to listen to it.

Unfortunately I am in the belt of folks in Alabama who have been without electricity since Sunday.  I am at a local McD’s right now letting my kids play and using the wi-fi. 

I am about to get as many winners as I can get so I can announce them and get you the prizes in the mail when I receive shipping addresses.  I can always be reached at jareason at gmail dot com if you want to ask me something as my phone as email capabilities. 

In the meantime, please hang on while I wait on some electricity at home…no electricity means no DSL modem and naturally the laptop batter wouldn’t have lasted this long anyway.  My husband did hook me up to the car battery last night for a while but not long so I didn’t do much.

No kidding, when I was young and dating, a man who would light candles and sing to me had me in the palm of his hand just begging him to let me do whatever he wanted.  Pretty pathetic uh?  But, when I thought back on one particular memory, nah, it wasn’t as bad as it sounds.  I mean, I don’t think it was as bad as it sounds. 

Anyway, moving right along to American Idol hotties.  I thought I might ought to get these guys before they kicked out because obviously I’ve already missed a few.

So, with that, I’m bringing you Kris Allen.  I know absolutely nothing about this guy and that’s pretty much how much I knew about Adam in the last post and well…remember that guy used to sing to me…you know the one I adored sooo much…yea, well, I don’t even remember his name. 

But, Kris Allen is a name I remember.  And, I’m sure you remember as well as I do what I had to say about David Cook.  I didn’t have picked as a hottie really, but hey, he’s definitely a work of art now, eh?

So, on to Kris Allen

I’m not so sure that any of the singers on American Idol are ever eligible for a hot TV Boyfriend, but I featured David Cook, told you that I didn’t like his looks but lots of girls did and I expected him to do well.  Hummmm, color me right on with that one.

Now, let’s look at Adam Lambert.  I chose to go with him first because I just finished watching Tuesday nights show on DVR and. …ahem, he got a standing ovation from Simon.  For some reason the show was running late so Simon was the only allowed to speak after he sang.  And, he said, “we don’t have much time and I”m the only one that’s gonna talk but what I want to say is you deserve a standing ovation” and he got to his feet. 

Honestly, that’s what happened.  I actually enjoyed hearing him sing last week and when he was singing tonight I even stopped blogging to listen and watch.  Normally I do all listening and just glace up, but he demanded I look at him. 

I don’t know his sexual preference and I really don’t care, no one said this site was a site for TV Boyfriends strictly for women.  Anyway, check out the photos and let me know what you think about his chances on the show.

I know, I’ve been writing on this site for 2 years now and never once have I put a girl’s photos on here.  Right?  Well, this isn’t about a girl at all although it is a picture of a girl…the song….Imaginary Boyfriend is absolutely perfect for this site, don’t you think? 

I mean, what’s better than a boyfriend that we dream up in our head?  He’s perfect and Leah Renee is only 23 and she has already figured it out, Imaginary Boyfriends are way better than any version of the real thing.  I mean, really come on, check it out.

Here’s her picture and you can probably figure she doesn’t need an Imaginary Boyfriend because she can probably get a good looking one all on her own.  But, as we all know, looks aren’t everything.  So, that’s what our site is all about, taking our favorite TV men and making Imaginary Boyfriends out of them.  I think Leah may have been spying on us, you think?
