TV Boyfriends

It’s about that time…if you are in Hawaii for real.  I went to Hawaii in early December when I graduated from college.  The professional surfers were on the North Shore at that time it was really awesome to watch.  I doubt Kelly Slater was there since he appears to be a young cat and I am…well, much older than most “young cats”.  Anyway, he is a professional surfer.  He was born in Florida and grew up surfing as well as excelling in other sports.  He also had great academics, I mean, you know, graduating with a perfect 4.0 is no slouch. 

When he earned enough money to pay off the mortgage on his family’s home.  Up until then, his mom had worked multiple jobs to support him and his brother.  He appeared on ”Baywatch” as well as Jimmy Slade.  He was the first love interest for Summer Quin (Nicole Eggert).  Well, what a lucky girl she was, just to pretend. 

He was  on People Magazine’s list of The 50 Most Beautiful People in 1991.  Wanna see what he looks like?

Where did he come from?  Out of the blue maybe?  Actually, he is not a young cat anymore, at 27, he is an American Actor who drew one of the most difficult roles ever.  He was hired to be Shawn-Douglas Brady on Days of Our Lives and replace Jason Cook who had played that role since 2006.  The reception was generally very positive. 

He has obviously worked prior to becoming the well-known Shawn Brady.  He was in a feature film Material Girls, has had a recurring role as Seth on General Hospital and even a guest spot on CSI.  He was on DOOL once before becoming Shawn Brady as a Assistant District Attorney.  So, you see, he HAS been around the block a time or two.  He also played the lead in a 2005 movie called “Suits on the Loose”.

He wears number 47, he plays safety, he was born in 1979 and he is no chump.  I mean, what do you think?  Does this look like a chump to you?

Er, this is not even something to sneeze at….He went to Highland High School and San Diego State University.  Prior to playing football though……..he worked as a model.  He was in ex-Destiny’s Child, Letoya Luckett’s first solo ideo called “Torn”.

He went to the NFL in 2002 when he was signed by the Baltimore Ravens til 2005.  And, later he went to the Giants where he plays now.  He has played 57 regular season games, that’s what tough guy he is.  He has even participated in Gatorade Jr. Training Camps which teaches the fundamentals of footbal to youngsters. 

He really is a good guy.  He provides donations to the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital.  He really is a class act…and more….

This dude is no baby!  I’ve actually found a hunk from the soaps that is older than me.  . Of course he was a former fashion model.  Who is he?  He is Sam Bennett on Passions.  He seems like a regular ol’ guy to me, born and raised in Ohio…seems plain Jane but if you look at him….he is certainly not plain.

Speaking of just being a plain ol’ guy, he was in Hawaii when he was discovered.  He has been all ove the globe doing what he was first hired to do.  Places like Japan, Amsterdam and London.  He even met his wife through modeling.  He will also be seen on the big screen in “The Blackout” which hasn’t come out state-side yet and “Let’s Talk About Sex”. 

He has also been seen in Another World as Neil Johansson and then a short spell on As the World Turns as Liam in 1999.  He has definitely made his rounds in the soap world as well as the modeling world.

Do you know Zach?  He looks kind of young if you ask me.  And, upon further investigation, he is only 21 so I guess that means he IS young.  But he was succussful as Casey Hughes on As the World Turns and has also been seen on Law & Order.  And, before long, you will see him as “Joe” on a feature film called “Tie a Yellow Ribbon”.

He also played Hunter Atwood on One Life to Live.  He has continued to remain friends with his co-stars from As the World Turns’ Jesse Lee Soffer and Alexandra Chando.  I’d like to  be his friend.  You?

Yes, I remember Phil Simms.  He looked good, see?

And, along came Chris Simms.  He just happens to be the son of that beautiful Phil Simms.  The result, equally gorgeousness.  Is that a word? 

Anyway, he is now an NFL quarterback for Tampa Bay.  He was drafted in 2003.  He got his first action in September of 2004.  He got his first NFL start 2 games later.  In December of 2006, he signed a 2 year extension with the Bucs and expected to start.  However, with the way that sport goes, he managed to be listed as fourth and has now been placed on the Injured Reserve for the reaminder of the season.

See, the more I get to looking at these men, the more I wonder how in the world any one man can look this good, never mind multiple men on the same page.  Simply amazing, simply AMAZING! 

So, Antonia comes to us as a Calvin Klein model.  He played Jack (Jagger) Cates on General Hospital for 2 years.  He was in a short-lived TV series of Steven Spielberg’s called Earth 2.  He was seen in six episodes of Melrose Place.  He played Heather Locklear’s husband.  Now, she…she is one lucky chick.  He had a small role in The Big Hit.  His father?  Just Antonio Sabato Sr. 

And, his son?  Jack Antonio was born in 1994.  He has custody of his son whose mother is actress Virginia Madsen.  He says he models to pay the bills but his goal is to make movies.

These days the soap stars are just wearing  me out.  And, get this, I don’t even wash soap opras.  My life is one big drama in action, I don’t need anyone doing magic tricks or having children by a ghost in order to get my fix.  But, I do need to see a few hunka-hunka-burning-loves every once in a while.  And, you?

So, this little young cat was born in March of 1980 in Chicago.  He currently co-host Human Weapon on the History Channel.  He holds several martial art hoop-de-do’s.  He has been in theatre productions such as Our Town, Fiddler on the Roof, A Midsummer’s night Dream and The Mouse that Roared.  As for TV, well he moved to New York and landed appearances in Guiding Light, All My Children, Sex and the City, Can You Tell and As the World Turns.  Yea, see a serious soap hunk-hunk!

I like that name, you?  Layke..I like weird spellings.  I know some folks get agitated by funky spelled names, but I happen to like them.  Anyway, this hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin’-love was born on October 13, 1985 in England.  So, naturally that makes him a British actor and well, if you look like that, you are definitely on the model track too.

He was discovered in New York at 17 and was hand-picked to play an x-kid in X-Men 2.  He has been photographed by art and fashion greats Greg Gorman, Bruce Weber, STeven Sebring, Pierre et Gilles.  Pierre de Gilles called him the new River Phoenix while he was shooting L’Uomo Vogue in Sicily.

He has also modeled for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gannana, Abercrombie & Fitch and Christian Dior.  He played in underground theatre roles like Rimbaud and Dorian Gray.  He also was seen working with artists such as Spike Jonze, Bjork, Jonathan Cauette, Asia Argento and Marianne Faithfull.

Recently, he has played opposite Shirley MacLaine and Mischa Barton in the forthcoming Closing the Ring which is directed by Richard Attenborough.  And, his next movie?  House of Boys

A young little cat, yes he is… a mere 26 and rockin’ the my world.  He was captain of his football team and also performed in several drama productions in an arts-magnet program at Hollywood High School.  Now, that school just sounds awesome doesn’t it?  He also ran track and even sang at his graduation.  I mean, come on people.  He is a native of Belize in Central America and came to the U.S. when he was 3. 

He has attended Pasadena City College for 2 years and studied sociology.  He really is a great track athlete but still he prefers his acting.  He has been seen in Boston Public, Judging Amy and an episode of The Shield.  He was in High Crimes with Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman and his independent feature, The Playaz Court was realized in 2003.  He will co-star with Forest Whitaker in the upcoming film American Gun. 

He was a teenager who ran track and played basketball in American Dreams.  He says that guy is very close to who he is.  A sense of humor and having something to say about his world is how he describes the character and himself.  He likes cartoon characters and is a Laker and Cowboy fan.

I just keep finding so much at Most Beautiful Man so you definitely need to check it out.  And, that’s where I happed upon Samuel Page.  He is a young little tot compared to me but erm…who cares.  He has appeared in MTV’s Undressed, All My Children, and American Dreams. 

If you can quit looking at those doggone dimples long enough, he is gorgeous in other places as well as being a really good guy.  He played a shady guy on AMC but er…who cares, right?

Now, he is Drew on American Dreams and has even been on Seventh Heaven and Popular.  And if I don’t know how to pick ‘em, no one does..he has a B.A. in ecology and evolutionary biology from….Princeton..yes people Princeton.   He likes baseball but apparently calls himself “a rabid fan of the Green Bay Packers - negative opinions on this matter are neither appreciated nor respected”.  Humor folks, he has humor….damn!

Most Beautiful Man

Do you know him?  Honestly, I had never heard of him, but one look and well, I knew I needed to.  So, on a need to know basis, I’m giving you….a man born on December 21 in Oldham, near Manchester in the North of England.  He is a British actor and football player.  Now come on people, you all know I have a fetish for football players and obviously for actors since I write this blog…but people, I never dreamed that I could get so much goodness in one place, one body, one man…yummmy.

Here, let me agitate you a little

If that jump start you and make you want to know more…..he is best known for his role in Sky One’s Dream Team as Ryan Naysmith and he is currently playing Calvin Valentine in a popular soap called Hollyoaks.

He was scouted by football clubs and an injury forced  him to pursure a Law degree…OMG he is intelligent, could this guy get any better?  He started modeling in 2000 and became the face of Reebok.

The man is apparently strong as an ox too.  He received a broken leg, had seven surgeries and was told he would never run again and might even walk with a limp…he plays football yet again.

And, we all know a good face is the hardest part to attain, anyone can build muscles and have a great body, but being born with a gorgeous face…..humpf, not so easy…unless you are Ricky Whittle

Kyle appears to making his career on the soaps..not that it is a bad idea, he is very popular on that circuit.  I’m not a soap watcher, but er….I’m definitely always on the look-out for good TV Boyfriends.  Kyle is from St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Pleasantville HIgh School in New York where he was a quarterback (erm…hello athletes always look good to me) and even attended Syracuse before dropping out to pursue acting. 

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) had him as Brady Black and did they ever HAVE him.  He was awesome and even married his DOOL co-star, Arianne Zuker.  They seperated in 2007.  He was later nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his role as Brady.  He also appeared in an episode of Friends in 2003 and get this, he was himself……so see, the real man really is good to know.

Now, you can find him still on the Soap circuit as he is Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.  He enjoys working out, going to the beach and says he is a movie buff.  He also modeled for Abercrombie and Fitch as well as Speedo (note to self, must find photos….speedo and Kyle Lowder..must find).

Yes, the name should look familiar…He is the father of A.J. Lamas from yesterdays post.  He is a film actor, a television personality and martial artist.  He has been in soap operats, movies and other television.  He plays mostly fillainous roles in shows like Mediterranean and Norwegian.    He was known as the irresposnible grandson, Lance Cumson, ON Falcon Crest and the falsely accused cop on te 1990’s crime drama, Renegade.  He was also a firefighter on The Bold and The Beautiful.  He even served as a judge on Are You Hot?  and he should know.

Other places to find him include, Grease in 1978, Gladiator cop in 1995, Undercurrent in 1999, The Nowhere Man in 2005, Lethal in 2005, Succubus:  Hell Bent in 2007, Mexican Gold and Chinaman’s Chance, all in 2007.  As for TV appearance, besides Falcon Crest, he was part of Celebrity Boot Camp in 2002, The Immortal in 2000 and 2001, The Paradise Virus in 2003, Hope Ranch in 2004 as well as Raptor Island in 2004.  So, go find him, see what you think.

If that name sounds familiar..it should.  A.J. is the son of Lorenza Lamas.  And, apparently he is a ladies man, much like his father.  I mean, he looks good, what else is there in a TV Boyfriend?  You can find A.J. in As the World Turns.  I mean if the soap star men don’t make good boyfriends sometimes, who does?  He has also been in American Family.  He was born Alvar Joshua Lamas in 1983.  I think I like A.J. better myself.  He was born and raised in Arizona.  He lived with is mother and 2 younger sisters growing up.  His sister Shayne is also an actress.  He started out modeling, you know, like many of the men we feature, and he took part in the International Modeling and Talent Association competition in 2001.  He won the cold-reading category and an honorable mention as Young Adult Actor of the Year and he even won Model of the Year.  He likes to play golf and has been rated one of the top models in Arizona.  He is skilled in Tai Kwon Do.  How much better and sexy can this man get?

He won a Golden Globe in 2003 and featured in the video Decisions - Are you Ready to Make the Right Ones?  So, how sexy is he?  You tell me…

I don’t usually like long-haired men but to be honest, this guy looks good, long hair and all. He was onestly hooked up with Lindsay Lohan at one time…
