How about Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs? 

What do you think about him?  The show is on the Discovery Channel and he shown performing difficult, strange and/or messy duties alongside professional workers.  So, where did he come from? 

He sang professionally with the Baltimore Opera (he is a bas baritone if you are interested) and sold over $100 million simulated diamonds on QVC.  He has been in tylenol commercials and hosted Worst Case Scenario for TBS, On-Air TV for American Airlines, The Most for the history channel, No Relation for FX, New York Expeditions for PBS, Channel 999 instructional guide for PrimeStar.

He has even hosted Evening Magazine on KPIX-TV in San Francisco.  He appeared on The Daily Show on February 6, 2007 to discuss his role on Dirty Jobs and on Larry King Live on July 6, 2007.  He has been on The Tonight Show too.

So, how ’bout some pictures?

You know, contestants come and contestants go.  And, in the whole scheme of things, this Survivor really doesn’t have that many hot men….or women for that matter.  Last weeks episode was one of the best in several seasons if you ask me. …and of course, you did ask me. 

Really though, everyone seemed awkward and uneasy.  There have been season openers where alliances were formed early and not very much really happened.  But, last week..that changed.  I was really cheering for Chicken just because he had a real cool personality to go with his name.  He wasn’t however, that great to look at.

But, Erik…yes, Erik Huffman looks pretty good.  He was born in Greenville, South Carolina and he stayed there all through college.  He played sports, excelled acadmically and eventually graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Admininstration in 2003.

He learned guitar from his father starting around age 13.  He later learned to play bass guitar and felt a pure passion for music.  He is currently a full-time musician, playing bass guitar and singing with his rock band, FLOREZ.  He enjoys running, football, lifting weights, frisbee (uh?), golf, Sudoku, movies, snowboarding and skateboarding.  He says he is an honest, genuine, sensitive, competitive problem solver who sometimes turns into a perfectionist. 

So, what do you think?

Where did he come from and how did he get to be so beautiful?  He was an athlete in high school but had to put his dream of playing professional baseball behind him.  As much as I love a good pretty athelete, I sure am glad that he turned to acting.  He had worked in some children’s theater stuff in New York and by age of 10 he had auditioned for a role in The Cosby Show.  He then ended up in NYPD Blue.  He was in Brooklyn South, Roswell as well as All Souls, Resurrection Boulevard, Felicity and Ryan Caulfied:  Year One.  Later he appeared in The Imposter and he was a major looker in Jennifer Lopez’s video “If You Had My Love”.  He was named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2003 and in People En Espanol magazine’s “25 Most Beautiful People”.  He now divides his time between New York and Los Angeles….

What do you think about him?

I missed the season premier of Shark.  That’s the bad part.  The good part is that Henry Simmons plays Issac Wright and there’s more goodness from where that came.  He became a regular cast member in January of 2007. 

He has been seen in NYPD Blue, Spartacus and Lackawanna Blues.  He was also had a guest starring role in New York Undercover, Swift Justice and The Cosby Mysteries.  His featured films include Madea’s Family Reunion, Something New, Taxi, Are We There Yet, The Insurgents, South of Pico and Above the Rim.  He has also been seen off-broadway in Boys in the Basement and Geranos as well as a Los Angeles-based production of Sure.

He earned a basketball scholarship and a degree in business from Franklin Pierce College where he tried out a little theater.  He got rave reviews and that was what fueled his career in acting.

He was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut and currently lives in Los Angeles.  He was born on July 1st…..so how about some eye-candy..

Let’s talk “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather….Ok, I wasn’t very amused when I saw the new line-up for Dancing with the Stars.  Then, I got my eyes on this “pretty boy”.  Let me tell you a little about good ol’ Floyd before we witness his footwork on the dance floor instead of the boxing ring.

He was born on February 24, 1977, (if you read my last entry, you might think that maybe February was the month of birthing beauties).  His father was a boxer and is currently working as a professional boxing trainer.  His lineage in the boxing arena is long and lean.  Uncles galore, his father and now him. 

He had a successful amateur career with a record 84-6.  He won national Golden Gloves championships in 1993, 1994 and 1996.  He was given he nickname “pretty boy”by his amateur teammates because his face never had cuts or bruises after fights - his father taught him the defensive techniques as did his uncle Roger Mayweather.

I mean, really, he looks pretty doggone good and well, if his face is always this pretty…why not?

Ok, so I’ve featured Wentworth a few times on this site.  A few as in every Sunday as long as I could get away with it.  Now, I’ve also featured Dominic Purcell before too but this time, this is pre-season, this is the new stuff, this is the thing that makes the world go ’round people…..the ratings are waiting in the wings.

In the new season, Dominic (Lincoln Burrows) is the one on the outside of prison and his brother who helped him get free is on the inside.  Could the plot be any better?

And, for the love of Mary, he is a family man…

He was born in England on February 17, 1970.  He has been seen in Town Creek (2008), Primevil (2007), Prison Break (2005), The Gravedances (2005), Blade:  Trinity (2004) and the list goes on, all the way back to 1997 when he was in Raw FM on TV.

This seasons Bachelor..Brad Womack.  And again, I plead my case for needing some time where I do not have to think seriously when I watch theses shows.  The catfights are absolutely amazing and laughter fills me home when these kind of shows are on.  But, let’s get to the juicy part.  Him.  The Bachelor that is.  Brad Womack is his name this eason. 

He is 34 and is considered a southern gentleman.  He was born in Atlanta, raised in Texas and co-owns four lucrative bars with 2 of his brothers.  His brothers are both married, so ladies, it is him or none.  And, believe me, I’d take him anyday. 

He was brought up in a single-arent home and he says this is the basis for his strong values and work ethics as well as made him want to be a good provider.  He has the obvious sex appeal that the show chases and well, what can I say….?  What do you think?

Do you watch this show?  If you do, you know that the beauty is always female and the geek is always male.  Last night as I was watching the show unfold (yes, I watch it, it falls into the part of my life as lame and requiring no thought), I said to my husband, “it is about time the beauties were men”.  He had seen a preview and suspected that this was going to happen this season.  And, if you were being lame and thoughtless, you know that it did happen last night. 

The beauties were all beautiful and dumbasses and the geeks were all smart and rather nerdy looking.  However, I did see potential in several of them…so…what happens when, Sam enters the picture.

Sam is 26 and a party promoter is listed as his occupation.  His hobbies are girls, working out to the tune of one thousand crunches a day, pool parties and bbq’s.  He aspires to own his own club in five years.  Now really, that doesn’t sound quite as lame as some of the girls bio’s do but it really is kind of ….yea, lame.  I keep using that world, but anyway, this guy might be lame but he looks good. 

When Sam entered the show last night, everyone was in awe.  The girls had dropped jaws obviously over his gorgeous hung of a body, I mean, look below at his damn arms, and the guys had dropped jaws it appeared because they didn’t know such a dude really existed.  Anyway, he looks good and I’ll be a nutcase because the female geek, oh yes, the female geek was the epitomy of GEEK.

Need I say more?

Chipper Jones came into baseball and instantly was deemed gorgeous in my book.  He has had a stellar career but has hit a few bumps along the road.  He know is a father to two boys, Trey and Matthew.  I wonder if they will be big stars like their dad?  He is still celebrating good times with the braves.  You check him out and see what you think?

Not only is this time of year a great time to search for TV Boyfriends on the new season openers, but the fall classic, otherwise known as the World Series will be kicking up really soon.  Of course, I’m picking players based on what I’ve heard and read about them, not because their team is going to do some winning.  That leads me to the Atlanta Braves Andruw Jones.

He is a young little cat, born in 1977 in the Netherlands.  He is 6′1″ and weighs about 210 pounds.  Doesn’t that paint a really nice picture in your head already?  What if I told you his made $14,000,000 last year…eh, that helped didn’t it?

He has numerous awards including many golden gloves because he really is that good in the field.  His bat is no joke either though.  But, what about….his abs, his legs, shoulders, er…buttocks?  Yea, let’s check those out too.

And, well, wouldn’t you want to know something about where he lives?

I’m fairly certain that should do it.

Ol’ Gabe!  No, really, I said that like I knew him before he got Halle Berry all knocked up…but alas, I did not.  He is a Canadian born model and well, apparently he and Halle are very excited to be having a child.  I’m excited because personally, I love Halle.  And, if she has picked Gabriel out of a crowd, then surely he must be something special. 

He is elegant, he is masculine and he is one of the top male models in the business.  So, I ask you, what do you think?

Let’s take the politics out of it ok.  I’m not a very political person because I don’t conisder myself a tee-totaller in agreement with one group exclusively.  Some call it a fence rider, some call it going with whose popular at the time, I call it, making my decisions based on my thoughts and judgments and not letting someone else do the thinking for me.  So, politics aside…..let’s look at Barack.

Despite the fact that he came from the North, he seems to talk pretty good southern English most of the time.  He is the only African American currently in the U.S. Senate…is that not something to be proud of?

He has worked as a community organizer, university lecturer, civil rights lawyer as well as serving in his public office in Illinois.

He delivered the keynot address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, won his election into the Senate by a 70% landslide.  He is also the author of 2 bestselling books, a memoir of his youth titled Dreams from My Father (his father by the way was Kenyan and his mother American) and The Audacity of Hope, a personal commentary on U.S. polics. 

He has been married since 1992 and has 2 daughters.  Now if that’s not enough for you..then let’s see some photos of the always handsomely dressed President Elect….

I know, he is somewhat of a bad guy to the sport for some of his antics but let’s just do a recap of the good things…besides being good to look at…he had the best day in the NFL by most folks standards on Sunday.  He has been injured most of the preseason but on Sunday, no signs of an injury to be found anywhere.

He didn’t exactly have the kind of college career that should have made him a star either.  I mean, Marshall State, do you even know where that is?  Lou Holtz said he was “the greatest high school athlete I had ever seen - a bigger Deion Sanders.”  Now, we all know who Neon Deion is now don’t we.  He had planned to go to Notre Dame but made some bad decisions and the folks at Notre Dame suggested he go to Florida State where Bobby Bowden had a reputation of helping troubled players.  He was red-shirted and the made some more bad decisions.

You see, when you are the best there is in high school, it is tough to be a nobody in college.  Moss ended up at Marshall state where he became a star.  He left with 168 receptions for 3, 467 yeards and a school record of 53 touchdowns.

Now, see, he is looking better as boyfriend all the time, eh?

He holds many many NFL records but seems to find controversy alot.  Oh well, you might not know who he was otherwise eh?

Since I’m recapping kind of…well the Survivor guys weren’t recaps but you know, recapping with Wentworth and Dominic, how could I leave out the lovable Shemar Moore. 

First of all, yes, Criminal Minds will be back for another season and I….I couldn’t be more excited.  I will be tuning in on Wednesday nights, you can bet your bottom dollar.  I can guarantee that his character Agent Derek Morgan is worthy of being a TV Boyfriend……

Here’s what his co-worker Kirsten has to say about him…I mean, c’mon on people, if a co-worker likes you this much…you gotta have something special going on…

1. He notices every time I paint my nails a different color, and if I’ve messed up, will help me re-paint them.
