TV Boyfriends

Ok, so how horrible is it going to be to have to self-proclaimed big ego’s on the show at once.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a reality show with two ego’s as big as the ones this guy (along with Brayden) are sporting. 

Russell is 24 and he too is from California.  He is a mixed martial arts fighter and a commercial real-estate broker.  He is described as being loud and brash.  He even says he holds nothing back and is ready for the fight. 

Then, he goes on to say that his biggest pet-peeve is people who don’t think before they act.  And with more cocky than any one person can stand, he says that nothing scares him and he lives by the motto that if you are not smiling, you are not living. 

Does he think he makes everyone smile just by looking at him and hearing him say he is a love muscle.  He even said in his interview that he was named that in college because he was on the wrestling team and they all had to shower together and his teammates named him that.

Oh please…….ewwwwwwwwwwwww Now, let me add, he has the look of someone I would most definitely find hot except….when he opens his mouth, craziness comes out of his mouth. 

If he could just stop right there, smile for the camera and then be humble, I would be seriously in love but we all know that when these folks start opening their mouth, craziness start spewing from them and then….well buddy, you get kicked out of the house, that’s what.

I know it’s crazy to think that all these reality show contestants can be what their profiles say they are and in some cases, if I were the contestant, I’d be kind of offended by the whole thing. 

It should come as no surprise that the two guys that look worth swooning over this year are very very cocky.  As in they are cocky enough to be disgusting. 

First there is Brayden.  He is 29 and lives in California.  He is a surfer and model and he doesn’t mind saying that he thinks he is gorgeous.  And, he says, he plans to be two-faced. 

I look at him and I watched his interview and honestly, I could be more repulsed.  But, it’s my job to show you the men, your job to decide if you want to daydream about them. 

And, listen I love me some cocky men, I love my men self-confident but I’m going to tell you, this guy just did not impress me at all.  Maybe it’s this photo and the way he looks so…..bored…how can you have your photo for a national reality show taken and you look bored.

And to listen to the guy talk and know that he is a surfer ut is afraid of drowning is quite comical and honestly, does this guy not just ooooze cocky?

So, it will be interesting to see how this self-proclaimed egomaniac jerk will do on the show.  I mean, I just don’t see him doing well, but you never know.

It’s time again….Big Brother is about to be all up in the HOUSE.  I love going to my reality shows for some good looking men and TV Boyfriends.  But, before I move on, I have to revisit the adorable Jake (who turned out to be very endearing and compassionate in direct opposition from what I thought originally) from The Bachelorette.  Spoilers had him finishing second to Kypton and that he would be the next Bachelor (which I hope he is the next Bachelor, he deserves it).

Now that he is gone, I’m not so sure the spoilers can be right.  I watched last night in major anticipation of Jillian wising up to Wes’s ploy for face time on TV just to benefit his band but alas, even the adorable, man of character Jake could not make her see the truth. (And, in the meantime, she made a fool out of herself and his ENTIRE family, his mother included.  I can only imagine what Jillian and his mother are thinking as they watch the show and see him proudly spout that he is not there for the girl but the face time.)

I can only wonder why Tanner didn’t meet Jake in Texas and team up against Wes.  I really would have liked to see that happen.  But, it didn’t.  And, she didn’t.  And, I was hacked.

But, I still believe she chooses Kypton (as I did way back on June 8th when I said he was THE one for her – see Jason’s and DeAnna when I picked him for her early on, then she chose the wild Jessie and went back to beg Jason to take her back – what a fool that one) and I’m going to just be plain ol’ rude here but when she saw how wealthy his family was, she immediately said, “this is a family I fit in with really well”(and this makes me mad)….well duh, that’s what we would all like to think too.  But, that’s what nabbed some others in the past too so she deserves what she gets.

Now, that said, I am in love with Kypton almost as much as Jake.  As much in love as a person can be in this situation.  I honestly think he is a great guy and would make a great husband.  But, not if money is the goal.  And, unfortunately, with Jillian, it appears to be a big influence.  Honestly, all the men’s families appeared to doing well in the income department but we didn’t actually see where the Bachelor’s lived….a la seasons past.  Instead, we got a view of where their parents’ lived. 

So, I ask you, my trusty audience, is Jillian out for the money?  Did she make a mistake by ousting Jake, even a second time?  What about keeping Wes?  What about letting Ed return?  And I’m not sure but I’m thinking she broke Michael’s heart slap into pieces.  Shame on you Jillian, you knew all along he wasn’t the one……

The way I see it, someone lost a child, someone lost a father, someone lost a brother, someone lost an uncle and many people lost  friend.  I had no idea just exactly who his friends were.  I mean, he was indeed a private man.  He was friends was the likes Liz Taylor, Liza Minelli and one of his younger buddies, Usher. 

Usher was on CNN news and was interviewed regarding his friendship and subsequent performance with Michael.  He had a tough time even speaking through part of the interview.  He was more than just a little choked over the loss.  And, the fact is, Usher is a youngster compared to Michael Jackson who was indeed a young man himself. 

But, the one thing to remember, Michael Jackson was pretty.  Usher is down right awesome….

Michael never looked this good but Usher will probably never sound as good as Michael did even at the age of 7.

Ok, admit it, you’ve tried to do the Thriller Dance.  And, that you’ve danced to Rockin’ Robin.  And this man right here…

is really pretty.  I know his sister is prettier and built like a brick house – his sister being Janet not Latoya. 

But, the man was mentally challenged in some way.  Was he abused as a child?  I don’t know.  He says he was beat, his dad says a belt on the bum….not my call.  But, apparently going to work at the age of 7 and being told to lie about your age when you were 9 because you were much cuter if people thought you were only 7 and doing what you did.

Then, 3 hours of school and 8 hours practicing performing or training to perform.  Yea, from the age of 7 or 9 whichever it was.  Who are we to judge?

I do know that he seemed to be holding his own and not really any stranger than any other celebrity until he started with the nose stuff.  It didn’t bother me that he wanted Neverland and wanted it to be successful.  I mean, Elvis has Graceland, what was the problem?

And, hiding his children’s faces?  Not at all to me, he was doing what he thought was necessary to protect them from the media.  I’ve heard more than once this weekend that the oldest child Prince Michael 1st is above average intelligence.  The kids are homeschooled and they apparently had a great Nanny and she stuck around for years.

The fact that the Nanny was there for so many years is a testament to the fact that the man was as crazy as the media tried to make us think he was.  I mean, would you work for that crazy person that the media has framed him to be?  Of course not.

But, my personal opinion is that when his hair caught fire and he began a series of plastic surgeries, he became addicted to pain medication.  I know a little about that stuff too and honestly, one nose surgery after another, the cheekbones, the scalp and heck, you might find yourself addicted too. 

And, then, all the criminal and sexual abuse charges.  Do you think you could go through that without needing something to help calm your nerves?  I doubt it.  And, what if you were paying 100K in rent each month, brining in 10 million a month and were 400 million in debt?  Can you say, xanax?

So, with that, I salute Michael Jackson and if I have to say so myself, he was at one time, a very pretty man.

Ok, so there, I’ve put my three guys out there and heaven help me if they get kicked off soon.  I rarely make prediction but I am this time.  He too is a contemporary dancer and obviously it pays to be a contemporary dancer.  The guys who specialize in other genre’s just simply don’t jump from one to the other easily ….or that’s just my take. 

You know, all those years of dance training I have (try none) and I am suddenly an expert.  I watch a couple of episodes of a few dance shows (Ok, five seasons, never miss an episode) and I think I am an expert. 

One thing missing this from the first season the swing dancers.  The one ballroom dancer that was on the show has been eliminated and so that mostly leaves contemporary dancers and maybe a hip hop dancer or two.  Either way, I’ve made my call…what about you?

Yummy don’t you think?  He is one of the guys that needs to find a way to dance without a shirt ever week.  Wow…..he is built like a brick house..ahaha turned that one over on ya didn’t I?

So, I am not so sure who will go where this where as I type this but I’ve given you my thoughts….the collective ones that I can put together after looking at a bunch of hot dancing men.  High flyers, leaping, tumbling, spinning, throwing girls around in the air…..awesome stuff.

Ok, so this guy is in my top 3 to win it.  Kapono is one of the others and I’ll shoot you the last one tomorrow.  (And, I always write and post date so heaven help us if one of them get kicked off this week).

So, with that, I give you a 19 year old contemporary style dancer and oh my, another Robin Hood.  I keep making that reference like it is something bad, when in reality, these contemporary dancers are strong as heck.  And, thus far?  They have shown themselves to be strong strong strong. 

These guys are lifting the girls and given the girls are tiny, but take percentage for percentage and those guys aren’t very big and they are hoisting the girls around.  I don’t know exactly how someof those lifts are done, but, whew!

In one episode when they were showing previews of the dances they were doing that week, one of the couples got involved in what they called “Dirty Twister” and the female part of that party said she kind of liked it. 

Look, we did not need to know that, but I could do some dirty twister with some of these fellows myself,

So, now I ask you…take a look at this photo…..

Now, you tell me, is that superman?  Robin Hood?  Peter Pan? No one can fly like that.  He is strong as an ox.  And, rumor has it that he doesn’t work out in the gym….ever.  That just goes to show you that some of it is just what you are born with, some of it is the fact that he has been dancing and that method of bulking up has been as good as push-ups, bench presses and of course dancing is extremely aerobic  so, who needs a gym when you have a dance floor?

Ok, look, this is getting out of hand.  What’s up?  The better they look they harder their names are to pronounce.  I am horrible with names anyway, but gee whiz, does this have to be so darn difficult?

Ok, enough whining.  We have Kupono dancing his 23 year old legs all over that stage.  His training is contemporary but honestly, I cannot believe, can NOT believe that this guy could dance the way he dancing.  But, honestly, it’s a tough call on all of them, guys and girls, I don’t know who is the best dancer.  I don’t know technique. 

I know muscles.  I know bulk.  I know pure strength.  I’m telling you, right here and right now, if I get a chance to see SYTYCD, I’ll be all over those tickets because really, hot, these guys are hot.

You know what happens in life when you start to focus on the materialistic things.  You turn lame.  And, I…I am drooling over Kupono and what I am writing is pathetic…I just can’t help myself.

So, we can start with this…..

Looks good and I don’t know what the heck he is wearing nor do I care, he just looks good, don’t you think?  And, here’s a close up of those eyes…those melt-you-hot eyes…

I am really having a difficult time finding photos of these guys.  There’s just not hat much out there anymore.  Honestly, I thought the SYTYCD site would have had more photos of the dancers by now….you know live, moving….dancing…flying through the air, throwing people around……yea, imagine that?   But, no, no photos or action shots on the site just yet.  You might could find some video on youtube, I’ve had a little bit of luck there.

Man, these guys that dance…They have some odd names.  But, when they put those tights on, muscles galore.  When they wear those opened up shirts, whoohooo hot hot hot. 

The website says Tony is sent home with a unamious vote and that he was sent home on July 10, 2009. Now, I am a bit confused here but I’m going with what the site says.  The site also says that he is hip hop, funk and story telling dancer.  Now, he wasn’t one of my favorites but his dance style is.  I can’t say I am too fond of watching grown men leap through the air like Robin Hood.  But, the hip hop is kind of cool and well, you all know I am all about some story telling so you go dude, you go.

I really can’t say how I felt about his performances though.  Since he was with a partner and they are all so darn good, it’s tough.  I don’t vote, I never have, not Survivor’s Favorite Star, not American Idol and not SYTYCD either.

So, what do you think?  Should I vote?  Should I just sit back and wonder “how in the heck did they come tot hat conclusion” or should I just come here and let out all my thoughts.

I know, the last one, because really, that’s the only option.  I am writing my little fingers to the bones these days and to be perfectly honest with you, it’s a lot more fun to write about these hot guys than anything else.  Agreed?

If you guys noticed on the page, I was going in order, but I skipped one, he doesn’t appeal to me.  I’m sorry, the light skin, the light hair, I like my men dark.  So, wow, that’s not what I meant to say.  Let’s say I like brunettes, does that sound better?

Ok, I was tempted to scoot on down and pull out a favorite of mine but I decided to keep it going.  My two favorite guys will be around for a while so I’ll get these other guys in case they get kicked off. 

So, what is Jason’s speciality?  He is Hiptapempazz is his joke but well, it’s a weird joke, eh?  Ok, so he is really a contemporary dancer.  You know, one of those Robin Hood like guys who wears tights and attempts to fly.  But for some reason when Jason does it…..it’s not quite like it is when some of the others do it. 

I can’t wait to get some action shots of these guys going.  He danced with Caitlin and Mary Murphy said she loved them.  And, guess what they performed?  Hip hop…go figure.

I think this is the guy that Mary also referred to as having eyes like magnets.  I’m sitting here looking at his photo while I write this and his eyes…yea, they are magnetizing me.

I’m curious.  There’s quite a bit of traffic coming through here, but very rarely does anyone comment.  I know you ladies (or gentlemen) have a preference.  Come on, give me some ideas.  Tell me your favorites and I’ll put them up as soon as I can.  I try to get request up within 3 days so come on, join the big ol’ blogosphere and let me know what you are thinking….and tell me how hot Jason is too…

Ok, so you go spell his name about 3 times then try saying it aloud three times and come back and tell me you weren’t sad to see him go.  Yea, I know, how can you get attached to a guy on TV who dances in tight pants?

Oh, hello…..can you re-read that sentence….how can you get attached to a guy on TV who dances in tight pants?  Yea, well, it’s pretty doggone easy if you ask me.  He really wasn’t one of my favorites, I don’t know that I have one.  If I have to choose one though, I’ll let you know in the next post or so.  I felt like since Max was leaving, it was time for me to go ahead and feature him.

So, what is his is dance of preference?  Ballroom.  And, that’s what Nigel said was holding him back and was more than likely the reason why he was kicked off.  He danced for his life, but in the end, Nigel said it more than once that his training only in Ballroom made it hard for him to dance alone and well…duh..if your dance training is in ballroom…it probably is pretty doggone hard to dance alone.

I don’t know if he can even audition again since he made it to the top 20 or 18 whatever, but if he can, I bet we see him next time too.  I’m willing to bet he can’t though.  We shall see…..I did like to see him dance….is that so bad?

Ok, that was the most difficult last name I’ve ever tried to type and I am going to watch the show and listen for them to say it so maybe I can figure it out.  Phillip is a hip-hop, pop locker and to be honest with you, before SYTYCD came around, I knew what hip hop was but I’ve been watching this …what…5 Seasons?  And, I still don’t know if I know what pop locking is.  Why can’t it just be hip hop because it looks like hip hop, it walks like hip hop and you know if it looks like a duck, it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck then surely, it must be a duck or a hip hop.

So, with that, I’m asking you, do you know pop locking is or wait, that’s not the question, the question is do you know the difference between pop locking and hip hop?  Whatever,

Now, Phillp isn’t just beefed up and built like a brick house either but most hip hoppers and pop lockers aren’t.  In my opinion, the guys on the show that tend to have the biggest and best looking bodies are contemporary dancers.  Those guys are strong as crap.

But, if you’ve watched Phillip do his thing, hip hop or pop lock, then you know he does what he does really well.  And, maybe one day when I understand what pop locking is and how it differs from hip hop, I’ll be ok.

So, it’s that time of the year.  I’ve given you my favorites for The Bachelorette, time for some hotties off of So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD).  And, naturally, why not start with this little cutie.  He is young looking really but the fact is, he can dance his booty off.

He is a trained Salsa dancer so he very well may be able to keep up with it all.  I mean, I kind of feel for the ballerina’s that need to do hip-hop but the salsa is a fast moving, get going kind of dance so I can’t imagine that any of it would be a problem for this little cutie. 

Right now his partner is Karla and honestly, it’s hard to say who I like the best year and even you all know how much I like a big buff body.  And, honestly Jonathan has a cute face but not a hot body with bulging muscle.  Some how, it doesn’t really matter.

That’s last week’s dance and even with that sweet little face, he was able to pull off the sexy shirt, the gorgeous clothing and woohoo, he looks really good.  Again, he doesn’t have those big bulging biceps but he is obviously no wimp, tossing girls around and wiggling hips.

So, I’m going to try to hit the SYTYCD circuit of guys and some of them may already be gone from the show by the time I finish with their post, but you can rest assured, the guys that made it this far are going to make it a long way and are going to have great careers.

I am not sure how Michael made into the selection since most of the guys chosen for Jillian to pick through are professionals.  But, much like Jessie from DeAnna’s season, he was a snowboarder and look, she was mesmerized by his high action lifestyle only to realize…oops I screwed up.

But, Michael is a Break Dance Instructor and I remember seeing him on the first show sporting his skills.  Which to be honest, kind of made me laugh.  He is from Tacoma Washington and now lives in Astoria New York.  Yea, I can imagine the market for a break dancer is a bit better in NY than in Washington, right?

I figure his high life lifestyle might appeal to Jillian a little but she seems more grounded than DeAnna ever did in the first place so…with that, I’m calling his age the determining factor and man, he is young.  Very young to be thinking about stopping his career, moving to Canada, learning to live in a new environment and it seems it may be a very much more calm and easy lifestyle if Jillians behavior is any indication.

But, you never know, right?

As I mentioned before, I tend to like brunettes but Michael looks pretty good.  I’m not really happy with the way the Bachelor has handle all their mug shots but you know, I guess they do what they do for a reason.  I looked for some better photos of Michael but they are not really good ones of his face so I left them out.  You, go find me some good pictures and let me know what you think.

I can’t honestly say that I think Ed is a good looking guy.  I mean, for one thing, these clothes that these guys are wearing are really horrible for photos.  They all look much better it the snapshots I’ve found on google than the ones the show provided as teasers.  But, at the same time, he has a clean, nice, kind look to him.  I guess I am headed back to that glam in his eye and that smile.  He doesn’t have that half-smile that every once in a while does mean deceit.  I’d say he is an open guy willing to share whatever it is that Jillian wants to know about him.

He is from Michigan and currently lives in Chicago Illinois so chances are if he isn’t snapped up by Jillian, there will be women recognizing him on the street and hey, what about the ladies who work in the firm where he is a technology consultant.  They will either feel jilted or they will realize what a hottie they have working right under their noses. 

And, then again, Ed may not make it back to deal with anyone else.  He maybe the one that wow’s Jillian and you know, technology is another one of those careers that could travel to where ever Jillian feels she wants to reside.

I happen to be much more fond of this photo of Ed just because you see those hands, I told you he is willing to open up, show Jillian what he thinks and feels not just blow smoke.  And his eyes, camera or no camera, he is totally focused on her.  He is making a big score in my department just with this one photo.
